Mercava

Mercava is the most advanced Jewish educational platform in the world, available on PC, Mac, tablets, and mobile phones. It is a free platform designed to make Jewish education attractive, enjoyable, and accessible to students worldwide. With its interactive books, activities, videos, images, 3D models, maps, and notes, Mercava brings traditional texts to life and engages learners in a new way. One of the standout features of Mercava is its extensive library of thousands of Torah books, including Talmud Bavli, Yerushalmi, Tanach, Mishna, Shulchan Aruch, Rambam, Mishna Brurah, and many more. The platform offers both traditional and modern layouts for these texts, providing users with a customizable learning experience. Mercava also includes a control center that allows users to navigate the texts phrase by phrase or word by word. In addition to its vast library, Mercava offers a range of built-in educational apps. These include CHAVRUTA, an integrated chat application that enables group discussions on selected texts; LIVE, which allows users to turn their group into a live session and control the screen of group members; ALEFBOT, an inline learning assistant for Talmud measurements, date conversions, and Gematria calculations; and WRITER, a tool for creating personal notes, articles, and source sheets.

Security and Privacy

Just as your school is a campus with doors, locks, and security, so too is your school’s presence on Mercava. As an MVP, you will be provided with a closed and secure network, ensuring your learning environment is safe and focused.

Personal School URL

Your school will receive its very own subdomain (yourschool.themercava.com). Domain names will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Grades and classes

Organize students by class and grade. Teachers can share assignments with the whole class, and students can seamlessly collaborate with one another.

Admin Control

MVP schools can create supervised accounts for students. And coming soon, school admins will be able to select and filter the apps and content fit for their school.

Online Support

MVPs receive special access to our online support team. Our team is here for you to troubleshoot issues and to help your school maximize Mercava’s tools and content.

Onsite Training

Mercava-certified educational technologists are available to visit schools to provide training and support to teachers and staff.
