Latest update has finally seen me move away from the formerly great BlackPlayer Ex. I wish the album art swipe gestures had animation choices to them, like 'flipping' as some others music apps do. Has some quirks : loses some artist art particularly if changing grid size, occasionally seems to freeze and not be touch responsive until it eventually unfreezes, and going into an artists albums can take a second before they load into view, so some optimisation needed there. Great music app; easily the best one I have. I've used it for many, many years at this point. The Smart list functionality makes this player stand out--especially after a way was added to combine the OR and the AND logic. Nothing comes close. I would love the ability to be able to play songs from my RaspberryPi based DLNA music share at some point since I have a 6000 album music collection. I don't understand why this app isn't rated higher....

I love your player and it's one of the few apps I've paid for because it's worth it. Not sure when the last update was, but it's August 2025. After this last update, lemme just say booooo. You know what you did. There's no reason for that. After paying to unlock an app and support the developers only for an ad to take up the bottom of the screen makes me a bit disgruntled. I'm not mad... I'm just disappointed.

Great music player, includes the ability to shuffle albums. Well executed Chromecast integration for streaming songs from your phone. Used for many years. If you have issues with the unlocker after the 4.x upgrade (like I had) a simple reinstall of both the app and unlocker fixes things.

I installed this app as a replacement for my then favorite, the BlackPlayerEx. So far, I like it very much. Sometimes assigned artist images from my phone disappear for some reason. One thing I'd like to see is the addition of artists' biography, similar to BlackPlayerEx. I sincerely hope the developers consider this.
