I've had good experience so far while learning Chinese. However, I was casually doing the speaking session of the lesson, and when I spoke into it the word appeared and then a weird noises started playing from the sound wave thing at the bottom of the screen. From then on the chat glitched and wouldn't work. Maybe it was just me, but it was weird and I hope it doesn't happen again.

Great for language learning from a company that knows how to craft educational materials. The lessons are short and well organized with a variety available to keep your interest. There is actual scaffolding from known to unknown and sneaky learning by context thrown in, as well. I was honestly not sure what to expect after trying a bunch of other language apps. I tried the demo and was sold almost right away. No regrets since.

Very good conversational and vocabulary lessons and techniques to keep you motivated to check back every day! A little light on the grammar, but there are other ways to learn that. I do appreciate the Hungarian offering, as that is difficult to find anywhere else! Update: The voice recognition didn't improve much. E.g., saying "két" always reads back as "Kate", and so on. Saying the same phrases in Google Translate gets nearly flawless feedback. Maybe learn how they do it
