Create a new distribution release in SoundCloud for Artists.

Select the audio files you'd like to distribute.

Enter the same release and track information from your previous distributor’s system. Ensure that the release names, track names, artist names, and ISRCs are identical.

Submit the release for distribution. Once it’s available on music platforms, wait at least two weeks for the newer version to link to the older version.

After two weeks, ask your previous distributor to take down the original release.

Why was my track taken down from SoundCloud?

Tracks are taken down when they are identified as containing copyright-infringing material.

There are two types of copyright infringement takedowns on SoundCloud — automated and manual.At the time of takedown for an automated or manual takedown, you will receive notification via email as well as an in-platform notification.  These notifications will provide you with information about what your content matched against or was reported for, and how to file a dispute if you have a valid reason.
