Very helpful app for improving calculation skills in mathematics. It makes practice easy and interesting, and I can already see improvement in my speed and accuracy. Great app for students!
Superb app! Thank you soo much developer(s). Helps me a lot with the subject i find hard. It has a lot of mindblowing tricks and it trains your ability by a lot of tests. A really nice app and I recommend this for every student. If u feel like a lot of ads are disturbing you, you can just switch off the internet connection. Works with my phone, not sure if it works with yours.
this app is really really good . I was looking for a genuine app to increase my speed and mentally solve maths and this is not only fun in using but also very easy with much less ads than any other . also it's free . there's no subscription needed for advance level . at first I thought it annoying that why can't I skip the question then playing with my sister but I realized that if skip button is provided than I wouldn't have even tried to solve and just skipped it.
It was very detailed. I appreciate that, unlike some apps or websites that give math shortcuts, it not only gives the trick, it explains the reasoning behind it, and gives many exercises afterwards to ensure that you understand. The math tricks are effective and save a lot of time that would otherwise be spent writing out the entire problem and using the traditional way. My only concern is that there are a little too many ads. Ads put aside, it is a very high quality app that I would recommend to those having trouble with math, those studying for a timed test, or simply those who want to save tons of time on math.

Are math tricks bad for kids?
No - but the order matters. Tricks taught after a child has fluency with the standard method build speed and confidence. Tricks taught instead of the standard method build a fragile understanding that breaks when problems shift. The trick isn't the problem. The sequence is.
At what age should kids start learning math tricks?
Grade 3 or thereabouts, once arithmetic with two-digit numbers is comfortable. Earlier than that, the trick adds load instead of removing it.
Are math tricks allowed in exams?
Yes for the answer, sometimes no for the method. Most board exams (CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB) require students to show working - and a one-line trick won't satisfy that. Use tricks for verification and time pressure, not as the working you submit. Competitive exams (JEE, SAT, GMAT, CAT) only score the answer, so tricks are a clear time advantage there.
What's the difference between Vedic math and modern math tricks?
Vedic math is a system of 16 sutras (rules) attributed to a 1918 reconstruction by Bharati Krishna Tirtha. Modern math tricks are mostly the same techniques, named differently. Nikhilam is the "subtract from a power of 10" trick. Urdhva-Tiryagbhyam is cross-multiplication. The math is identical; the cultural framing is what differs.
When you learn these mathematical techniques, you’ll be able to show off your talents to friends and prove to them that you have a flair for arithmetic. New talents you may use in the shop, at school, at college, at work – anywhere due to rapid calculating skills can save a lot of important time.
