Club Detention is an erotic visual novel about second chances and educational methods in a very inappropriate institution. You have been kicked out of academia for your radical approaches to teaching children. However, even this situation turns out to be solvable.You are offered to take a class at a private academy. Spoiled girls from well-to-do families do not want to become at least a little more mature. Well, as a corrective work and an opportunity to get out of the debt hole for the academy you organize a hostess club.

Story:

Club Detention is an adult visual novel with multiple linear storylines and a sandbox style gameplay where you manage a hostess club and try to get a problem class to graduate. Currently the game is in very early stages, but I'm putting it out there to gather some feedback since I can't just work on it alone forever. It's also my first VN and first time programming with Python/Ren'Py, so be gentle with me.As a former disgraced teacher, you are given one last chance to enter the world of academia. You are to teach the hopelessly ignorant young women from ultra-rich families. The twist: The school needs money to operate and a hostess club with the students as hostesses is born. Teach the girls, manage the club, decide the fate of your students and meet a rich cast of characters.

Changelog:

First of all, I'll do what I always do and say I'm sorry for the delay. To my defense, I was pretty sick for over a week, and the end of the year holidays keep a family man busy. That being said, this update is quite a bit heftier than the last one! It sports about 300 renders and enough new dialogue to make my wrist hurt.

What's in the update?

While the catcalling feature I teased didn't actually make it into the game (I had some creative differences with myself), all the girls should be out and about the game world more frequently. Instead of catcalling, there are three ramping NTR events, one for each: Anna, Hermione and Samantha. Naturally, if you've turned off NTR or the girls are marked as non-shared, these events will never reach the point where the girl will do dirty things.

Aside from that, Amanda received a small episode that will lead up to you unlocking the 'Deflowering night' event! The event itself is just a bare bones system that will make the girls non-virgin, so you can access the lewder parts of the new NTR events if you want to. Non-virgin girls will probably do more lewd things in the club during nights as well, but you only get to read about those, so, not as exciting, I know.

The future

What's next then? Well, first of all, I have a new episode in works for Samantha, and at least a club event or two for her. And I want to make a better research screen. And the character sheet desperately needs another redo that shows all the stats and a list of scenes for all the girls (something that's been requested like a billion times). Besides that, I'm not 100% sure where to focus, so after the public release, I'll do a poll asking whether you guys want more NTR scenes, beach dates, club events, townie events or just something new to grind some stats/money for.

A barebones deflowering night has been added so you can access all the new content (there are no scenes or flavor text for the deflowering night events yet, sorry)

Smaller fixes:

Hopefully fixed the issue where Catherine's recruitment sometimes gets stuck

Fixed a bug with the NPC min portraits sometimes being missing in the town map

Fixed some school policy points not being awarded correctly

Buffed the values you get from showing pornography to your students in the theatre (mainly their lust), and made some code improvements there as well

Lust is now one of the visible stats when you go click on a girl while roaming the game world

One new literature school question (I mean, you can tell I've been reading a lot during the holidays)

Changed the cheat code, see the appropriate post

Final Verdict:

Club Detention - cute renders and character models visual novel about a disgraced teacher. Only thanks to his talents and merits he is given a last chance to save his career. True, the only thing they can offer him is to start teaching a bunch of spoiled kids of rich parents. Due to the fact that there are simply no other options, the protagonist agrees. The project will appeal not only to the high-quality execution of the external part, but also to a rather attractive plot component. Where there will be a place for getting to know the characters and revealing various piquant secrets. Not only students, but also among teachers. So fans and connoisseurs of the category will be very pleased with such an adventure.
