Characters:

Chris McLean is the host of Total Drama. He has hosted every episode with the exceptions of Basic Straining, Are We There Yeti?, Eat, Puke and Be Wary, Zeek and Ye Shall Find, and all the aftermaths other than The Aftermath: IV. He was arrested at the end of the fourth season for turning the island into a highly contaminated toxic waste dump. However, he was paroled from prison and returned to host the following seasons. Though he is not the host of the first spin-off series, he does make a cameo appearance in the season finale and returns to host the reboot. He's also appeared as a minor character in the second spin-off series.

Chef Hatchet is a cook, co-host, best friend and sidekick to Chris on Total Drama. Chef hosts the show in Basic Straining, Are We There Yeti?, a part of Mutiny on the Soundstage, Eat, Puke and Be Wary, and Zeek and Ye Shall Find. By Total Drama Island (2023), he is promoted to an official co-host. He is the only other major member of the staff besides Chris to be featured on the show.

Axel has a strong belief that the zombie apocalypse is coming and has trained herself to be prepared for when it eventually arrives. She possesses strong leadership qualities and is not hesitant to make sacrifices in instances of mutiny, even if that implies sabotaging her own team. Axel has also shown a frustrated and angry side at times. She embodies an untamed spirit, unafraid to catch wild animals and feed them to her team in hopes of enhancing their strength and improving their chances of winning.In Total Drama Island (2024), Axel makes an effort to be nicer in order to get further in the game. Aside from still being hostile to Ripper, Axel appears to be a lot more caring towards her teammates, such as being concerned for Damien after he is severely injured. She is also vengeful against those who cross the line, as shown when she is disgusted at Millie pushing Damien down the dangerous four-point slide and MK cheating in the challenges. She even opens up to being in a relationship after Ripper's constant attempts to win her over.

MK is a snarky and mischievous girl who has little interest in making friends. She has no qualms with making sarcastic remarks at other's expense, which can often have her come off as rude. MK is shown to be incredibly slick and crafty, and is an expert at stealing various items, such as stealing Julia's phone for her own gain. She is also very tech-savvy, as she is able to easily hack into the confession cam, something previous contestants struggled to do in the past. Because of this, she gains the distinct advantage of being able to watch other people's confessions and use it against them.MK is a very intelligent and strategic competitor. As she states in her introduction, she is always underestimated which allows her to fly under the radar, which she uses as part of her strategy. However, she can be overconfident, such as her sarcastic taunts leading her to saying Julia’s catchphrase “butt knuckle”, unintentionally exposing herself and leading to her downfall.
