I have to say that a huge part of the reason Rignettas Adventure clicked with me was Ringnetta herself. She is the star, the main character, and the person we control during this Zelda style adventure. She is a fun, spunky, feisty, and cool chick (who may be some kind of robot) and she wants to have an adventure and a lot of XXX fun!. The premise here is certainly a great deal of fun, but there is not much in the way of an actual story.

Overcoming By Being Charming

Usually, I would probably tear a lewd RPG to bits for having a barebones story, but Rignettas Adventure is one of the few exceptions. You see, there is very little to the actual story, she is going on an adventure and that is pretty much it. However, I found that I was kind of coming up with these own cute and fun scenarios in my head which was kind of neat. However, on the flip side of this, I can see why for some it is off putting and may make things here seem kind of pointless.

It’s Dangerous To Go Alone, Take This!

If you read about Rignettas Adventure, you will hear many comparisons to the Zelda games, and in all honesty, that is probably the best comparison I can think of here too. We control Ringnetta from a top down perspective and move her around the map, fighting monsters, getting new gear, and taking on bosses. It is a very simple game and most of the challenge comes from finding what the best weapon is. Once you discover the sniper rifle and the grenades, the game is very easy. However, despite it being basic, I still had fun with it and the simplicity was a huge reason as to why.

Pixel Pounding

Look, we all know that the pixel art style lewd RPG is nothing new at this point, but Rignettas Adventure has a lot of charm to it. I love the large and if I am being honest, sexy picture of Ringnetta on the side of the screen as it will change as you play the game. The pixel art that makes up the game is done very well and has a ton of charm to it. Ringnetta gets banged all the freaking time and it takes place in the middle of the screen. It is done in the same style as the gameplay so it is rather small, but it was still fun to see. It may not be “sexy” but, it fits the tone and style of the game perfectly.
