In Because I Love Her, players take on the role of John, who begins a sweet cohabitation with Claire. To ensure a happy life for Claire, players must find a job. During their work, they'll encounter charming women with diverse personalities. Faced with their allure, how will they choose? Will they remain loyal to Claire, or go on passionate dates with all the alluring women? Each character in the game has a unique story and character model, allowing players to freely admire the character's different body parts in 360 degrees by dragging their mouse.

Hey guys, this update took me a lot longer than expected due to all kinds of lame reasons I won't get into. The update is here, finally, and what started with around 450 renders ended up at 700, the largest amount of content I've ever created for a single update! (I've been a small solo dev for 6 years, and this is my first project I've been happy enough with to put out there.)

How do I go about viewing all the new content?

You must go to this point towards the beginning of the game and disable NTR to be on the love route!

You will then see this choice way later, be sure to click it to begin the new content after seeing Arora, you will then begin the latest update shortly after.

I have made my Discord server easily accessible on the main menu so you can personally ask me any questions you have and I will be there to support any time during the day. (PST)

I have not yet added new music to the new scenes, nor did I add the new Steam Achievements (Only 1 so far for testing purposes) but those will go up within a week from today :)

Ok, so the premise of Because I Love Her is one that I felt had a ton of promise. We have John and Claire who have been together since high school and they are now at a point in their lives where they think that things might need to change. I went into this thinking that it was going to be a love story where Claire and John could make it work and decide to stay together and while that technically is an option, the execution never quite did it for me.

You can I guess have a “love” route in Because I Love Her, but there is also a harem and a corruption type thing as well. The problem is that Claire's character is all over the place from thinking she really loves John to wanting to bang the big hot black dude at the gym to exposing herself to people out in the street. I think that it is kind of like the game wanted to be a comedy, but everything is played straight and I just found it hard to get into it all. However, I can tell you that this is a really well-made game that many others do love the story of so it could be that it just did not click with me.

While the story may not have gone the way I wanted it to in Because I Love Her, I can tell you that the way the game looks is fantastic. The character renders here are done in a realistic and detailed way and I particularly loved the parts in the gym, even if the whole thing with Daryl never clicked with me. The lewd content I came across was done very well to and I have to say that the presentation probably kept me more interested than the actual story and gameplay ended up doing.

Final Verdict:

Because I Love Her is a visual novel for an adult audience of gamers. They, as a young man, move with their fiancée to a large city. And along with them, their mutual friend arrives for company. The trio is going to put down roots in the metropolis and develop vigorous activity. New houses, new neighbors, new jobs, new friends and everything else brings chaos and a feeling of lack of control over what is happening into their lives. Which results in crazy actions and the implementation of not very well thought out plans. Well, gamers will take the most direct part in this and decide how far the wards will go in their fantasies.
