Alien Invasyndrome

Alien Invasyndrome
Introduction

In Alien Invasyndrome, players embark on a journey across the boundless starry sky aboard the exploration vessel Atlas, engaging in passionate and in-depth conversations with the captivating women aboard, and striving to preserve the human bloodline. As the game progresses, players will encounter a variety of fascinating races, seek out the alien larvae hidden within the ship, and slay them all to preserve the purity of humankind. The game features multiple branching storylines, and the choices players make throughout the game will influence the plot's trajectory and outcome.

Gameplay:

Like the arcade game, there is a two player option, which has the obvious advantage of doubled killing power, but you have to be very wary, because letting rips with fatal weapons rubs out your partner with just as much efficiency as it does the mutants. Scattered around the playing area, behind special panels, are weapons galore; a flame thrower, a bomb launcher, a lazer, a fireball flinger, and the inspiringly named 'options' which tag onto you and guard your behind, firing when you do. Only one weapon and two options can be held at a time, which is annoying.

There are loads of scientists scattered around the first level (shown on the score panel as companions); find ten and you can progress to the next level (leaving the rest behind to a slow sticky death - sick!). Here the scientists become harder to find, and the aliens are slightly more bent on killing you! The exit from this level leads into another room in which floats a vile and vast mega-monster who does his very best to wipe you all over the floor. These fairly disgusting entities are portrayed beautifully with liberal use of colour and pretty animation, something which is missing from the main part of the game where the figures are tiny, and the quarter scrolling (where the screen only moves when you get close to the edge) can create problems when you're dangerously close to hundreds of mutants just off screen!

Despite the several quite minor problems already mentioned, Alien Syndrome is a wonderful romp through some great carnage. This romp is made far more enjoyable by the two player option, although it would have been nice if the two players were impervious to each other's fire. It does make the game more challenging, though. Thumbs up!

Reviews:

You are an alien who resembles a facehugger and you are aboard an all-female ship. Your goal is to grow and take over the ship. Have fun, mesmerize girls, sneak up on them, and take them to remote locations. Use the energy you’ve earned to support the nest’s growth. To be honest, H-Scene (single, for now) is brief and somewhat uninteresting. Very brief as of 0.4 DEMO; there is only a single scenario with two girls, followed by a brief synopsis of how it will develop in later releases. However, it makes it easy to expand the base game. In its current condition, I would give it a weak 3. Nevertheless, I’ll give it a five to help expand its player base.

Since this developer has performed well in the past, I have faith that they will do so again. Very promising; I really like this developer. The demo is hardly more than a tutorial at the moment, but it looks like a fantastic game in this genre. Whether the creature who kidnaps helpless damsels, mistreats them, and then leaves them pregnant qualifies as a style. It doesn’t really matter to me if it is or not because it is the kind of game that I would search for on this fantastic website, with good pixel art and stealthy “capturing” tactics. In light of the limited information currently available regarding the gameplay itself, excellent animations, good mobility, Stealth mechanics that aren’t overly difficult but are easy enough to play with one hand (wink wink), a leveling system that promises to make it seem like progression, and additional elements that add complexity (and that promise to be extremely enjoyable in the future).

Once again, it’s just another “normal” day on < Atlas >. You take on the role of the alien in this game. Initially weak, you should use your skill to sabotage to gain strength and finally take control of the ship. Simple yet endearing, and I think there’s a lot of promise! It makes me think of one of those old-school point-and-click flash games where you were initially a tiny leech alien and had to interact with objects in a certain way to grow without dying. It’s a really underutilized notion and idea, thus this demo deserves praise. Anticipating its release! A basic game created by a basic developer.

Final Verdict:

Through the deep space of thousands of stars,Exploration Vessel <Atlas> advances steadily. With a carefully chosen crew of female, they seek for a way to continue the bloodline of humanity. However, little do they know...hidden in the silent shadow of the cosmos, another kind also strives to pass on.Such kind hides in the crowd on the ship, an <Alien Larva> from a distant planet.
