Comments:

Renders are good but animations are bad very bad, but that is not real reason I am giving it 2/5 rating.. Real problem is story or more pricelessly how vilified are Men presented. For some reason dev decided to present every male except MC evil or imbecile. And all women’s victims. One of the best example are MC Father (Step-Father) and Mother. Andre who has raised MC as his own son is show like a evil man. His crime? didn’t sucked up to his cheating wife. MC when he learns that Father is not real one, instead of showing appreciation turns on him. Instead of continuing calling him father he suddenly starts calling him “Andre”.. that even after he was living with him for 5 years alone.

The first half of the opening scene on the plane is a good indication of what to expect in Intertwined: Attractive and likable characters, well-written dialogue and an engaging slice-of-life story. Halfway through the scene I was really excited and mockingly said to myself:

“Finally a well-written scene on a plane that doesn’t involve implausible sex with a flight attendant. When Alexis asked the MC to follow her to the bathroom I was expecting a clever prank by her (and the writer). Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out that way – which was a huge letdown for me. Fortunately, this is the only occasion I recall where “porn logic” prevails in Intertwined. After this rather implausible lewd scene Intertwined returns to its former self and strengths.

The renders and animations are good. Not the best possible, but good enough for me. I especially like that the dev put a lot of effort into creating proper facial expressions (for example how characters look at each other) and gestures. You can also tell that the posing quality improved during the course of making this VN. However, you can regularly spot female characters’ areolas because either their clothes are too skimpy or the dev didn’t pay enough attention (or both). I wouldn’t mind if this happened in private, but in public scenes it’s simply irritating. I also recall how Erynn and the MC were easily floating on the water of the swimming pool like it’s the Dead Sea.

Conclusion:

Intertwined is a project for players who have reached the age of eighteen and want to enjoy the story of a young man who returned to his hometown after many years of absence. Much has changed here, but most of the old friends still live here. They were glad to see a comrade who wants not only to restore connections, but also to make new ones. Gamers will follow this process. Directing and determining. So that the whole scenario proceeds as they think it should. Long duration, frank scenes, many characters, dialogues and much more will please fans of the genre.
