it's a pretty satisfying game, but the forced xbox button prompts on v2.0 while using a ps5 controller is definitely annoying and is the main reason i refunded the game, it just gets too confusing to see xbox buttons while holding and using a ps controller and im not used to xbox so it makes it worse. would buy again if this gets fixed.

Really like where the game is at this point. I've left an unhappy review back around the first launch I'm pretty sure lol. Right now the only things I could really ask for is some snappier camera following (when transitioning), a way to play game of BIKE online (+more online maps) and pickup barspins lol. Cheers Mash.

This is as close as an indie studio can get to making the BMX game that our niche audience has wanted for so many years.BMX Streets leans a bit more into the sim-like physics of something like Skater XL. Meaning that this game isn't as arcade-y as the old Tony Hawk games, or even the Skate series. It's a bit more grounded in it's physics and difficulty, and it will take some time to get good at performing the tricks you want. Unfortunately, this can also make the game a little frustrating as managing the bike at high speed and staying on path in the dirt trails can be quite difficult - sometimes even feeling random.Given unlimited resources, I think many might share my desire to have a points score system like Skate/Tony Hawk, a loose story mode, some characters, etc. All the things that made old school Tony Hawk and Skate games that extra AAA level of engagement. There are challenges and some characters to unlock, but these aren't structured in a cohesive progression system. What we do have, however, is an excellent sandbox of a game that more than justifies it's base price. Especially with multiplayer support and continued updates from time to time.
