Noemi's Toscana Rebirth

In Noemi's Toscana Rebirth, players will follow Noemi's perspective and witness her wondrous story and journey of love. Initially burdened with debts from her father, players must earn profits from running their own restaurant to repay the debt. Along the way, players will encounter numerous obstacles. Use your wisdom to make choices and overcome them, ultimately leading to a life of happiness with your fiancé! The game will be continuously updated with more high-quality storylines and erotic scenes, bringing endless fun to players.

Story:

Our heroine Noemi (call her Noe, everyone else does) is the only child of an Italian (Florentine) immigrant to the USA, who is also a self made entrepreneur and chef. She runs her own restaurant in a small neighbourhood in suburban Philadelphia with her fiancé Brad and her long-term waitresses, who are like sisters to her. Life has been good to her… too good. It all comes crashing down around her when her father is sent to an early grave and his secret debts come to light. As his only heir, they become Noe's and just like that she is under a burden of a 6-figure payment. That's not her only problem however as the biggest chain restaurant in town opens its dozenth location just across the street. She learns first hand how cut throat the food business can be at the hands of Mr. Baines and his chain “Salvatore's Deli”.

Noe shows us just how hard it is to fight off crushing debt and a lecherous, treacherous rival restaurateur all while trying to keep her dream shop open. She's by no means alone however as her eternally optimistic fiancé, a trio of trainee waitresses (Kriem, Frankie and Kelsey), and her last remaining regular, the grizzled ex-cop 'Old Roy' all back her up in the head-to-head with the world. Will she make it to her long awaited wedding day? And will she be the same person as she was when all this began? That's up to you now, isn't it!? For the VN parts, using Unity is re-inventing the wheel, but it works decently for the most part. For the non-VN parts, it’s probably an improvement, but … more on that later. I like the visuals, typical DAZ models, but presented in a distinct artstyle that is maintained throughout the game. No animations, but I don’t miss them, personally. Overall a strong suit of the game. The story is nothing to write home about, a decent corruption story, not very original, but also not too cliche and there’s only a small amount of plot details/developments that made me roll my eyes. Slow paced, but once the ball gets rolling ,it gets rolling for real. And that’s a promise the game fulfills already now, in 0.18, not a distant promise like in some other games. 

My criticisim in this area is that dialogues and descriptive text are overly verbose and often not very interesting. I think they’re quite good when the juicy bits roll around, but during the buildup, it often feels the game rambles on and on and on about things that could be described with a much smaller amount of words. Overall, still rather a positive than a negative. Why only three stars then? Everyone knows the LotR quote about how evil cannot create, only corrupt – and in the same vein, grind cannot improve a bad game to be better, only bring down good games, and that’s what happens here as well.

Summary:

I came into Noemi’s Toscana Rebirth expecting one thing, but ending up getting something with a bit more depth. This is a lewd sandbox adventure game and one that when you read about what it is offering makes you think that you are in for some kind of NTR sex fest with everyone sleeping with everyone! However, that is not exactly the case of what this game is all about as it is more of a slow burn character driven kind of experience than that which I found to be quite interesting and if you do favor story more than XXX content, you are the perfect gamer to give this a try.
