Accursed: Emma's Path is a story-based role-playing game. Players will embody Emma and embark on her own legendary journey, encountering a diverse cast of companions along the way. They'll face numerous dangers and hardships, defeat monsters, unravel the mysteries surrounding Emma, and ultimately find her true love. As the game unfolds, players will face difficult choices: whether to indulge in endless desire or uphold their vows to their beloved—the choice is entirely theirs. Story:

The game’s story and Emma’s progression is very important to us. In order to properly tell her story the game is split into three major acts alongside a prologue and epilogue. Each section will differ with structure and what is available for Emma to do.

Prologue: A short linear introduction to the world and a few of the major characters. The events here set the events of the entire game in motion.

Act I: Introduction to the small town where the game will mostly take place. Several key game mechanics/systems will also be introduced here. Plan the order in which Emma does various odd jobs around town each day of the week. Help the blacksmith at the forge? Serve some lucky patrons at the bar?

Act II: The game will open up a lot during this act. A multitude of side quests, activities and free events will become available. Pursue the main quest at your leisure. Be careful though! Emma’s collective choices at the end of this act will determine which of the one of two possible Act III’s are served to the player!

Act III: The player will either get the pure or corrupt version of this act based on the prior key choices.

Endings: Each version of Act III will also lead to 2 distinctive endings (total of 4) depending on overall choices made. There will also be various “flavors” to these endings depending on what you did during the game.

Player Comments:

Smut Art: A+.Finally, some cute fucking guys! For an NTR game, they've put a surprising amount of care into the female/bi gaze. Your party members are genuinely attractive, the villain is appropriately seductive, and there's a wide variety of different body types based on your preferences. Artwork is, as you can see in the images, quite good.

Atmosphere: A-.The opening minutes actually surprised me a lot! Care has been taken to make genuinely pretty environments, using overlay tricks to give weather ambience, shadows, and nice lighting. A clean UI gives it a lot of oomph. It's still recognizably RPGMaker, but polished and cleaned up enormously. Minor visual glitches or errors detract a bit from the experience, but I'msure these will be ironed out.

Story: C+.The dialogue needs another draft and a proofreader. Exposition is clunky, dialogue is sometimes unclear, and background plot is hard to parse. It's miles ahead of most of the stuff on F95, but I really believe these devs can put together something great here. The use of the crystal rooms to represent curses was a genuinely clever mix of story and mechanics and I laughed to myself upon realizing what they were doing. It's pretty open about its contrived plot, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Now, Accursed: Emma's Path is classed as an RPG and one of the things that caught my attention was that it said it had optional combat. That is very true as I played the game and never really got into any scrapes at all. My gameplay consisted of mainly waiting tables and getting felt up. You have a corruption meter, but the way your corruption meter raises is kind of odd. You see, by getting fondled by a dude at the bar, it goes up a tad, but by just standing there out in the open watching people screw, it goes up a lot. There is a sword making mini-game here, but for the most part, this is one of these games where the gameplay is mostly about just walking from point A to Point B and then maybe back again to Point A if it is a fetch quest.

The best thing and the saving grace of Accursed: Emma's Path is the visuals. This is a fantastic looking game and while the dudes are all hung like horses, I think that is ok as this is a game that is set in a fantasy world. Emma is super hot, but there are other hot ladies that we get to see banging in this fantasy world as well. For me, the impressive visuals were more than enough to keep me playing as I felt that the game did dish out the XXX scenes at a pretty fair rate and I was never waiting too long for the next lewd scene to happen.
