In Monster XXXperiment, players take on the role of a junior researcher at the NYLIC laboratory, tasked with researching various monster girls and boys according to their superiors' requirements. Your researcher level dictates how many monster girls and boys you can be in charge of at one time. Every time your researcher level increases you're able to choose a new individual to be in charge of, and you get a burst of funding.

Funding is how much money you have available to you to buy what the individual is requesting. Buying what the individual wants correctly increases the amount of reputation they generate passively for you, however running out of funding can get you in trouble with the site director!

Reputation is generated passively by the individuals. Higher amounts means the research into what they like and dislike is going smoothly. After a certain amount of reputation is gained your Researcher Level will increase!

Monster XXXperiment Classic has been Released!

This is a legacy version of Monster XXXperiment, including all of the versions up until the Last Alpha that was released back in 2023. This is now the defunct Renpy version of the game and will no longer be receiving any updates. We have since moved the game to a new engine to give it a fresh life in the image we want, that still contains the soul that you all came to love and support us and our endeavors for in the first place. 

Even though we have had many hardships over the last 2 years, we have stayed here and continued to try to develop the game in the image in our minds. Tech Tsundere and I have been hard at work after meeting to help the game reach the heights and the expectations I'm sure all of you have for it. Thank you for your continued support, and for supporting AstroKaen.

Much better than I expected! The art was great and the writing was better. The characters are cute and I look forward to meeting more of them. The management system is fine when it's working properly, but it's glitchy a lot of the time and sends you into scenes when you aren't ready or expecting it, or loads the wrong background occasionally. But it was never severe or gamebreaking.

more dialogue is needed to make characters feel more involved and to make affection gains less tedious.one mini game per character that builds up affection would also be a solid possibility.characters interacting with other characters would help with immersion.instead of single diet options, having to decide the proportions of meat, fish, and vegetables for a character on a day to day basis would be good. For example, Flare could on some days want 3 portions meat and 2 portions veg out of 5, or pure meat.fulfilling character needs would definitely improve immersion. For example, if a character wanted a specific item, you'd be able to get it and raise affection and maybe unlock an event.sending the girls on activities to boost affection and have events occur would be interesting.

With just a little bit of tweaking and a tad more depth to the management gameplay, Monster XXXperiment could end up being one of my favorite monster girl games of all time! What is here is good stuff and the fact that I want more of it tells you how much I enjoyed it. They have a fun and unique premise here for a game with monster girls and the management gameplay was something that I enjoyed tinkering with. If you like monster girls, be sure to give this game a chance.
