Oddmar's controls are perfectly adapted for touchscreens. Your left thumb moves your character from the left side of the screen to the right, while your right thumb controls jumping and attacking. In the options menu, you can hide or keep the controls visible. Each level in Oddmar lasts approximately five minutes. During this time, you'll need to collect all the runes you find along the way, as well as the three coins hidden throughout each level. All while completing puzzles, jumping between platforms, and destroying monsters.

It's worth noting that the full version of Oddmar Adventures includes 24 different levels. As you might expect, this free version only includes the first few levels, so you can get a feel for the quality of the game.

Really awesome game! At first. suddenly I discover, while I'm just getting good at the game--I got a pay for the rest of the game! Why don't developers understand how much this aggravates players? it's worse than popup ads! At least be up front and honest about having to pay for the full game up front, before players invest time in something they might not want to pay for, instead of sneaking it on them later on!

The game is beautiful. The animation is next level for a mobile game. The narrator is endearing, making you feel like you're listening to a cozy tale before going to bed as a child. The animation is very smooth and creative, making the world around you feel alive. The music and sound are also really great. I usually play mobile games with no volume, but this game was totally worth it. Of I had to add a complaint is that the game needs some customizable level function or a dlc.

I appreciate the love that went into this game. As far as side scrollers go it's one of the best I've seen on mobile with great graphics, animation and music. It has some elements that can be improved, like controls, but I'm giving it 5 stars because it doesn't attack you with ads, since I'm several levels in and haven't seen an ad yet. Well done.
