I’ve been playing this companies BMX and BMX 2 for years now and absolutely love those games. This game offers so much with the more modern and up to date multiplayer options. Personally I love the trials game mode and I am looking forward to more possible game modes in the future. One suggestion I would give to the devs would be to add more customization option ( or more options in general) to your base character, not including post-start skins you can buy and such. I feel as if the player could change the hair, skin, shape and height and such, it would be a more immersive experience. Overall, this has proven to be a great game with great mechanics and graphics. Now, if only Illusion Labs would make a snowboarding version of Touchgrind X! I never usually review games even if I like them but this one I fell in love with (touchgrind bmx 3: rivals). I love that we have characters and can actually see them unlike the other games. I would love to see a game like this one but skateboard version like the title. Overall I love the game though I’ve had no issues. Anyone writing a bad review maybe doesn’t understand how to play or they’re trippin. 10/10
Matchmaking broke with the new update, it’s stuck looking for riders for infinite time and I have to close the app. A real multiplayer mode against human would be cool.. and the sections with small jumps I think would be a lot better if it was a technical section with rails for grind combos.. a open map that isn’t on rails that rewards steering finding a good route for a run would be nice, the game has a lot of potential, even a deeper trick system with hard to pull off gestures can spice it up. Im a little disappointed the cosmetics have a new currency that’s pay only but that’s fine, the gameplay is solid.
