Gameplay:

Capturing territory: Capture territory to level up and gain a speed bonus. For that, wander outside your territory andyour player will draw a tail behind them. Loop back to your territory to capture enclosed hexagons

Becoming King and winning: Reach a certain threshold of total map ownership (20%) to become the King.You will get a speed bonus and will be shown all player's positions on the minimap.But beware because your position will be shown on their minimap too.Once you become the King, a countdown will start (3 minutes) and you need to keep your territorypercentage above the threshold to win the game!Alternatively, you can clean up the map from your opponents, they will be eliminated if there is aKing and won't be able to respawn.

Totems:

Capture the Totems: There are five different totems that you can capture while playing Hexanaut.io. Players should try and capture these whenever they are able to safely do so. They all have their different advantages that will help you conquer the map and become the Hexanaut.

However, if you can teleport to them you might be able to catch them off guard and cut off their tails.

Slowing Totem: The slowing totem creates an area where every other player will be slowed down immensely if they enter that area. It is kind of like a spider web, where every player can barely move except for you. Take advantage of this speed advantage by trying to take down every other player in the slow zone if they dare enter.On the other hand, avoid the enemy slowing totems if you can. There is no reason to try and challenge an opponent when they have such a huge advantage.
