Making progress in *Day R* is no easy feat. Your character possesses numerous attributes, such as hunger, thirst, radiation levels, and sleep, requiring constant vigilance. For example, if your thirst level becomes too high, your character will begin to die. The same applies to other attributes.

In addition to these attributes, your character possesses various skills, including exploration and combat, which can be progressively upgraded. Initially, you might struggle even against a single rat, but as you level up, you'll be able to confront much stronger enemies.

*Day R*'s map exploration mechanics are very similar to the *Fallout* series, sharing many similarities. Of course, moving around will quickly deplete your fatigue, hunger, and thirst reserves. If you get too close to disaster zones, your radiation level will also rise.

It's a scavenger type game for sure and i like it but in my opinion it's only for people who will spend a bit (very necessary to get a premium vehicle at the start or u will be crawling ,and the base relocations takes ages without a good vehicle, ofc u can build one but that will take a long while of frustration while managing the characters needs coz you'll be crawling there to get the blueprint and ofc the materials) .... bit grindy, not Chinese level grindy tho. Totally doable offline.

If I could rate this game higher, I absolutely would. I’ve been playing for years, and it’s still just as addictive as it was in the first year. My only complaint is with the new safe-cracking system. Previously, I could open every safe using energy, but now I have hundreds of unopened loots piling up because of the update. I really wish the original cracking option would return, or at least that the new system could be made easier.

exceptional game, 10/10 recommended for post-apocalyptic games. I had to spend an odd 30 dollars to get a vehicle (really good one), but after that, I didn't spend any more. I've grinded everything else, and it's not a two-day grind; it's quite easy, given how big some of the towns are. If you don't have 30 dollars to spend, to be honest, don't download it unless you're prepared to grind a whole week just for the motorcycle to transport things.

The right side of the screen displays all your character's stats, including percentages of hunger, blood loss, fatigue, thirst, and radiation levels. Your backpack is always attached to your back, allowing you to carry various items and food. Tap a specific button at the bottom of the screen to view the items in your backpack. Be sure to pay attention to the weight of the items you're carrying. You'll naturally want to carry a lot of stuff, but this will burden the protagonist, forcing them to discard unnecessary items and keep only the essentials.

During gameplay, you can view your character's location on a large map, which also shows all nearby settlements. Remember, radiation levels in cities are much higher than elsewhere, so try to avoid them. If you still want to enter urban areas, you might get lucky. You might find food, weapons, and other items that can buy you time.

The core gameplay seems simple: you need to choose a direction and move, find food, rest areas, useful items, fight enemies, and keep going. Once you enter a city, the game becomes much more interesting. We must closely monitor all indicators, or the character may starve or die of thirst.
