Bound by Temptation

In Bound by Temptation, players, facing life's hardships, enter into a contract with a mysterious woman, becoming an employee of a cryptic bar while uncovering Mizuki's true identity. Players will encounter various beautiful fantasy creatures in the bar, using their wit and charm to solve their problems and gradually win their hearts. While searching for clues about Mizuki's identity, players will enjoy intimate moments with them, unlocking incredibly exciting adult scenes. The game is still under development and will continue to be updated, adding more beautiful girls and H-scenes to bring players an even stronger sense of excitement. Please look forward to it!

Story:

Naoki Tanaka is an ordinary young man from suburban Tokyo whose life collapses within weeks — unemployment, debt, his father’s disappearance, and his mother’s illness drive him to despair. On the verge of suicide, he meets Mizuki Aoi, the mysterious owner of a bar where two worlds intertwine.

By signing a contract, Naoki becomes a worker in a place that’s far from ordinary — a refuge for fantastical beings hiding among humans. His life becomes bound to this bar filled with secrets, temptation, and unseen pain.

But everything has a price. To gain his freedom, Naoki must fulfill the contract’s conditions and uncover who Mizuki truly is. Each night reveals more secrets, more passion — and brings him closer to a truth that could destroy both worlds.

Visual Novel Excellence: The game combines high-quality character art, dynamic CG scenes, and full Japanese voice acting for key characters, enhancing immersion during emotional and suspenseful moments.  

Puzzle Integration: Solve mysteries tied to patrons’ pasts—e.g., arranging fragmented memories for a ghost or deciphering ancient runes to cure a cursed client—to advance the narrative and unlock new zones.  

Multiple Endings: With conclusions ranging from bittersweet freedom to catastrophic revelations, players can explore outcomes via New Game+ mode, carrying over previously unlocked clues and relationship levels.  

Player Comments:

I played through this little demo, and despite the tiny amount of content, you know this game has potential. It's biggest hurdle is that it desperately needs a re-write of the dialogue and narration. It seems at time to almost be machine translated from another language, sometimes way too formal/analytical, other times too wordy or too descriptive, etc. After playing through this demo and coming back here to put my critique to words, I see this is made by the same dev team as My Lovely Blood, and I quickly dropped that game for the same reasons. Clearly the dev team are very competent in making high quality renders that look visually beautiful, but unfortunately if the dialogue and narration aren't of the same quality, you can't properly appreciate the good parts of the game. I finally got the opportunity to check out the new version's translation, and while it's not perfect, it's definitely an improvement. It feels much more natural and is clear that it isn't machine translated. It still feels like it's been translated by someone who, while conversational in English, doesn't have full English proficiency. Something like someone who studied abroad in an English speaking country for a few semesters. Occasionally the gendered pronouns are wrong, and it still feels just a little too formal at times. There's also one page where a Russian character is still present without being translated; I'll include the screenshot here.
