Dead by Daylight: Death is not an escape is a horror-themed action survival game where players form a four-person team with three other survivors. They explore a map, complete various tasks to obtain clues for escaping, and ultimately win the game. Dead by Daylight: Death is not an escape features dozens of unique assassin characters, each with distinct skills. Players need to strategically assemble their teams to more easily defeat their opponents. Dead by Daylight: Death is not an escape will continue to be updated and optimized, introducing more characters and gameplay with new mechanics, bringing players even more enjoyment.
Dead by Daylight takes the core conventions of a horror slasher film and translates them into a competitive, asymmetrical game. But in a twist for the genre, the four people who play the survivors are largely helpless when forced to face off against the monster of the week. Instead, the survivors are spending their time trying to activate the tasks that will allow them to escape the map, while the killer is trying to ensure that no one else is left alive.
The core gameplay here is pretty standard, but there's a lot of components here to mix things up, and the environment is largely procedurally generated to make sure that both the killers and victims have to spend a bit of time to get their bearings. And while the tasks may be pretty standardized, the pace really matches the tone of a slasher flick. Victims are forced to first repair four generators, then turn on a switch, and finally escape to the exit. This creates a natural pace that's easy to fall into but still requires a decent amount of improvisation. While the early game sees victims scrambling over the map to find the objectives and the killer having to content with multiple hotspots on the map, the latter two acts create some bottlenecks that force direct conflict. Despite the outsized power levels of the killers, the imbalance of numbers means that neither side is a sure shot to win.

Customizable Gameplay: The MOD APK version not only enhances speed and removes ads but also opens up a world of customization. Players can explore different characters, outfits, and skills that enhance their gameplay experience. This added layer of personalization allows players to find a playstyle that suits them best, whether they thrive as stealthy survivors or aggressive killers. The ability to make these choices empowers players to shape their experience in a way that standard versions of the game may not.
Competitive Edge: In a game as competitive as Dead by Daylight: Death is not an escape, having an edge over other players can make all the difference. The combined benefits of the Speed Hack and ad-free experience contribute to a significant advantage in both survivor and killer roles. Survivors can quickly learn map layouts and find escape routes faster, while killers can utilize their time more efficiently to track down survivors. This elevated competitiveness leads to more thrilling matches and improved overall player satisfaction.
Engaging Community: One of the most compelling aspects of Dead by Daylight: Death is not an escape is its vibrant and passionate community. Players can engage with one another, share strategies, and discuss various aspects of gameplay. With faster-paced matches enabled by the MOD APK, players can come together for more rounds, fostering a stronger sense of community. The absence of ads further solidifies this atmosphere, as players are more likely to connect without distractions.
Exploring New Strategies: With the Speed Hack active, players can experiment with new strategies that were previously difficult to implement. The ability to execute quick maneuvers opens the door to innovative tactics, whether it's survivors setting traps or killers utilizing their time effectively to patrol and disrupt survivors. This encourages players to think outside the box, enhancing depth and complexity in gameplay.

Choose Who To Sacrifice Carefully: The Shape’s stalk ability allows you to level up Michael by staring at survivors as you use it, but each survivor can only be stalked for a finite amount of time.Once a survivor has been stalked for the maximum amount of time, their outline will become red instead of white, and stalking them will no longer progress The Shape’s Evil Within. Prioritize sacrificing only those that have already been stalked to maximum, as leaving those that can still be stalked alive will allow you to continue progressing Evil Within.
Activate Evil Within III At The Right Time: Evil Within III is the highest tier you can achieve with The Shape and it makes survivors suffer from the exposed status, making them vulnerable to one-hit downs or even death, depending on the add-ons used.Evil Within III is when The Shape is at his strongest, and the time it lasts depends on what add-ons you use. Evil Within III will eventually run out (unless using Fragrant Tuft of Hair) and you will go back to Evil Within II. To get the most out of Evil Within III, you should progress Evil WIthin II until it is nearly maxed out but then stop stalking and only stalk again to activate Evil Within III when you are near survivors, to avoid wasting the tier during a chase.
Don't Be Afraid To Slug: One of the greatest fears of survivor mains is a perfectly legitimate strategy, actually. This is slugging, which is a term used for when killers leave a survivor in the dying state instead of hooking them. This one will upset survivor players — but listen: slugging is actually fine. The way DBD is designed means that killers will probably have to slug at some point, as much as everyone hates it. With The Shape, slugging is especially important. You do not want to waste the duration of Evil Within III by carrying bodies to hooks when you could instead be downing more survivors. Slugging just makes sense.
Choose Your Perks Wisely: Advice that is useful for any killer: choose your perks wisely. Think carefully before taking a perk into a game and swap out perks that don’t complement the add-ons you are using. For example, if you are using Fragrant Tuft of Hair, which grants infinite Evil Within III, then don’t use No One Escapes Death. NOED, as it’s commonly referred to, makes survivors suffer from the exposed status when exit gates are powered and the totem is active, but if you’re in infinite Evil Within III, it doesn’t give you any type of advantage and is taking up a perk slot.

Out of all the reviews I wrote, This one is probably the most serious one I wrote. For starters the community of this game sucks just like every online game, You don't wanna talk to them because they're all just jerks who wanna say you suck or you camped or blah blah blah, its rare to get a nice compliment out of people in this game. But you don't have to talk to the community either. Unlike most online games this one doesn't have a mic system so you don't have to worry about hearing a twelve year old cry baby raging at you for nothing. Only time you can talk to people in the game is in the beginning before the match starts if your a survivor and at the end after the match is over as both killer and survivor, The end chat is the only one the killer can talk to everyone in the match though. Mostly just to say GG for Good Game.As Survivor you can basically just play every man for himself and be sneaky and say screw you to the other players or you can try to be a good team mate and rescue them if they get on a hook but if someone is a jerk in the chat before the match then you know who not to save if they get hooked.I mostly play killer because I find it more fun than playing survivor and someones gotta play killer and from what I hear most people enjoy playing survivor more. Probably becuase as survivor it feels like a horror game and you get team mates while as killer you're by yourself. But what i'm really trying to say is this game is really great even though the community sucks, Just ignore the community and if you get someone who is raging at the end just say gg to them and leave. After seeing that they didn't make you argue with them and waste your time it might make them even more mad even if you got the last word aka GG. So I give this game a 8/10.
I play games for fun, not for competition, so the DBD community doesn't really get to me. If I get a bad killer that face camps, oh well. I die and move on to the next game. If I get a good killer who finds me immediately, hooks me (bc I can't juke whoops), and then patrol camps (which I'm 100% OK with), then no biggie. Next game please~I think a lot of the community salt from killers comes from dealing with rank one survivors that don't actually play the game properly and just run around and flash the killer in the face. And while that is a legitimate strategy, it takes away from the fun of the game in my opinion. As a killer (a horrible one), I've also been called names by survivors who tell me to 'get gud.' Older players ruin it for newer players or players who don't put in 1000s of hours. Just relax and have fun with the game! So what if you don't pip up - there is always the next game :)That being said, this game is crazy fun. Don't let the saltiness of the community keep you from buying the game. Grab it, have fun with it, and ignore anyone who might give you a hard time ;) And don't fixate too much on the ranking process unless you're absurdly highly competitive for some reason (also fine - just try not to let it push you into spouts of anger!), and even then, recognize that there are jerks who play this game, like any other game, and have fun while you compete!
This review is for those considering starting Dead by Daylight.First things first: the game’s concept is excellent for casual players. It’s constantly updated, with new content every few weeks. You can treat it as a quick pick-up-and-play experience, or sink thousands of hours into it - it’s as shallow or as addictive as your preferences allow. That said, the learning curve is steep. While the core gameplay is simple and there aren't many interactable elements, the depth comes from its variety. As of writing this, there are over 40 killers and 127 killer perks, which means learning dozens of playstyles and counterplay strategies. On the flip side, there are 46 survivors with around 150 perks. Again, lots of combinations to experiment with or master. Most perks can be unlocked through play or purchase. But don’t expect a quick grind. Even after 1000 hours, you may not unlock everything. Some perks are also locked behind paid DLCs(not a complaint, just a fact). Here’s the twist: despite the wide variety, once you climb the matchmaking ranks, you'll notice a pattern. Only a few killers dominate the meta, and only a handful of survivor perks are commonly used.
