Clown Squad is a story-driven adult game where players are placed in a world teeming with superpowered individuals. Story:

Heroes — everyone knows the word, and almost everyone, at least once, dreamed of becoming one.

Some wanted to save people, some longed for fame, and some… just wanted to prove they were worth something.

This is a story about a man who had that dream, to stand among the heroes.

But fate played a cruel trick on him, gifting him the most useless and self-defeating ability imaginable.

A clown who can’t lie. Can you even call that a power? A rhetorical question.

In a world where a flying man is nothing special anymore and people who can lift houses with one hand are practically commonplace,  a clown looks ridiculous beside them.

And yet… maybe he wasn’t born with strength or fire or lightning.

But he had something else: hard work, stubbornness, and a sharp mind.

And now, you are about to witness the story of a clown who challenged the entire world — trying to prove that his fate belongs to him and no one else.

A bit of info-dump This game, just like Astreon, is definitely not for everyone — and that’s perfectly fine.

If you enjoy silly jokes, surrealism, and something simple, light, and easy to read — this game is made specifically for you. But there is one important criterion: self-irony.

If for some reason you can’t laugh at yourself, then it might be better to skip this game.

I think that clarifies things.

What is this project and will there be more releases?

This is a fully-fledged project that will be released in parallel with Astreon.

To be precise, every few Astreon releases will be followed by a Clown.

What will happen to Astreon and how often will updates come out?

It depends on various factors, but I doubt you'll ever have to wait more than two months after the public release of one of the games.

This game is what I can call a one of a kind masterpiece the animation is top tier the story is 10/10, the mysterious element is also really good. The music is god damn so good even if it is AI(I don't know) but it is so good and LI character is really good too. Cant wait for more updates. It definitely deserves the 5/5 for me atleast.

This is the strangest novel I have seen on this site. It resembles nothing else and is not sexy or porn. The MC is tragic and over-sensitive and supported by loving women. Sound familiar? Exactly, not at all. At one moment, a beautiful woman offers him sex and he turns it down. The women are all stronger than him and he can't even run to safety well. On the other hand, the clown leaves all the women aflutter as he prepares for his exam to enter hero college. I loved it. No, "she spied his enormous cock while he showered and was instrantly in love".

Clown Squad has you take the role of a man with deep trauma and labeled as a failure by most aspects. It's not really explained much, but people have superpowers in this world and the MC seemingly got the short end of the stick by his power being the ability to: not be able to tell lies. So why the clown aesthetic? Honestly no idea, but you can see the dev's intent behind it I think.The prologue sets up the idea of you trying to get into the hero academy. Sorta for yourself, but more for the two supportive friends who want to see the MC flourish and get past his trauma. I have to say, I really like how that whole dynamic has been written. Pretty strong introductions for love interests. It's nice to see their own ways of caring for him, but also actually trying to let him grow in his own way if that makes any sense.The game is very show and not tell, which overall is good, but it's kinda hard to have a clear idea on some things right now. Like who these powerful families really are, or general details about the world as examples.I don't dislike the MC, but I'm not exactly sold on him yet is maybe the way to put it. He does fit the idea of a jester. Uses a lot of humor, kind of pretends to be a fool sometimes, is physically fit and acrobatic, and it seems like his real strength is his intelligence. But those moments where it starts to peak through don't really feel that special. There's a moment where he's talking to a character that's suppose to be influential and powerful, and she says something along the lines of "you're dangerous, if I let you live it will be the greatest mistake of my life." And it's just like... really? Why? The MC doesn't even really do anything noteworthy. Maybe I'm missing something.The game is definitely at a higher level of quality though. Renders look good, scenes are put together pretty well, I like the character designs for the most part, has sound and music (though I personally don't like a lot of the music choice, I find music with lyrics very distracting in VNs. Turned it off more often than not) There's only one lewd scene and it was fine enough. Game has some meme humor too that I'm not a fan of, but it's not too intrusive.I like when games try to be something a bit different and this feels unique enough so far that I'd say it's accomplishing it. Definitely has my interest.

Final Verdict:

The game is designed with dark tones, neon lighting, and cinematic camera angles that simulate thetense atmosphere of a big city. Characters wearing clown masks create a unique, both bizarre andsymbolic, look. Sets such as abandoned industrial areas, underground tunnels, night streets, and secretinvestigation rooms are all depicted in detail, Electronic music with strong drum beats adds to thedrama.
