After spending a few hours with Summer Story I came to the conclusion that this could be a good lewd visual novel, but it does need quite a bit of work. The version that I played is not the completed version and from what I have figured out, the developer still is working hard and trying to update the game on a pretty regular basis so by the time you are reading this they very well could have implemented some pretty big changes that will fix the things I am not keen on or perhaps even change the direction of the game quite significantly.

I think that the developer really went in the wrong direction with the story that Summer Story is trying to tell. Our main girl in the game is a chick called Kasie and I really liked her. I thought she was a pretty cool character and in my humble opinion, she should have been the main character. Actually, she kind of is, but the problem is we do not play as her, we only get to control her two brothers Kenny and Derek who have come to live with her for the summer. The idea being that they can fall in love with or corrupt her.

I think that the developer of Summer Story has struck gold with the character Kasie in this game. I think that if the game was more based around her actual choices and we actually played as her it would be a much better experience. Also, redesign the two brothers, they look creepy, weird, and completely out of place. I do think with a bit of work, this could be a decent game, but in its current state, it is not an easy game to recommend to other people.
