I've played similar games, like Bitlife. Altlife, even with the ads and the free version, is so much better in terms of interactions, part time jobs, renting and owning houses, etc. It's predictive, again, like most life simulators. But considering it's a 1 person project, it's impressive. I do wish there was an option to get closer to friends from school in the game.
There are still some elements to iron out, but for a single dev app, AltLife is well on its way to be a strong competitor to BitLife. I enjoy the details of skills, jobs, and relationships. The smart phone aspect makes it feel so real. I haven't made it through one entire life yet but I can't wait to see what else this app has in store! This game is so much better than BitLife, I signed up for the premium version of this pretty fast. One suggestion is to add Canada to the list of countries you can play in, please! That's my home country, and seeing that it's the second largest country in the world (after Russia), it should be available in this game. Also, please add an option to switch to your child's life. My characters keep living to be 120 and outliving all their kids, so I can't play a legacy game.
