A Simple Life with My Unobtrusive Girl is an open-world combat adventure game where players embark on an adventure to save their sister, who possesses a unique constitution. Armed with various weapons, players will venture into dungeons to battle enemies and monsters, skillfully utilizing their abilities and weapons to delve deeper and reap rich rewards. Beyond combat, players can also care for their sister in daily life, cooking, chatting, and playing various fun mini-games to increase her affection and unlock intimate scenes and animations. The game is under continuous development and updates, with more fun gameplay, mini-games, and sensual animations to be released: stay tuned!
Real-Time Combat: Everyone must go through a number of battles to be able to progress. In particular, strength is important and is adjusted by using skills and gear.
Roguelike Replayability: Over time, you will bravely enter different dungeons. They often have unique terrains, enemies, and treasures to make each visit always the most novel.
Strategic Challenges: All your skills are always used in many different situations. From there, they will help you increase your winning rate and reach the final area with dangerous bosses.
Unlockable Interactions: Over time, the two brothers can perform different activities. This is the key mechanism if you want a strong relationship over time.
Motivating Narrative: Challenges in the game can be found and require you to complete quickly. Some give you the opportunity to help your sister overcome difficult challenges.
Quality Downtime: You will have an extremely beautiful sister with the right characteristics to be a waifu. Therefore, the game allows you to have dinner and share different stories to build a relationship.

Start Each Day with Dialogue: Greet your sister each in-game morning with a simple conversation, as this gesture unlocks hidden moods and narrative threads that evolve over time.
Keep a Steady Routine: Performing chores and daily tasks on schedule builds consistency, which the game rewards through character reactions, hidden events, and side dialogue.
Watch for Mood Shifts: Pay attention to your sister’s expressions and posture—they often change subtly to reflect her feelings, giving you hints about what actions to take next.
Use Memory Points Wisely: Certain objects or locations trigger memory flashbacks; interact with them thoughtfully to deepen the story and reveal backstory layers.
Check the Notebook Regularly: The in-game journal keeps track of events and thoughts, and often contains hidden hints or reminders about missed interactions or choices.
Allow Quiet Moments to Breathe: Not every scene needs action—sometimes, waiting and observing can lead to beautiful, silent events that add emotional richness to the experience.

This game is incredibly ambitious, you can tell from the sheer scale of its systems, the gorgeous artwork, and the huge amount of animations. It’s a shame that the current level of completion isn’t quite there yet, but once the content is filled out to a satisfying point, it’ll absolutely be a legendary title. The last game that really grabbed me with a ton of animations and beautiful art was NTRaholic Remix, but Critical Bliss hasn’t shared any news about it for ages. At least NLCH is updating every month and consistently showing the direction of new content. Keep it up, one day we’re going to witness the birth of a legend!
Alright, this ones a cohabitation game that has been in my sights for a while. I played the earlier versions, got confused and quit the game, but now that its nearing release, Im eager to revisit the game with greater hope. The game starts by giving you an elf-sister even though its painfully obvious youre not one. Shes apparently suffering from an unknown illness that causes weakness? Not sure, because the game really doesnt explain anything, so we're left to understand in-game that your sis isnt really suffering from any debilitating disease, because shes a pretty functional brattish girl, she just needs to sleep more than the usual humanoid being. The illness is basically just a plot device to justify why youre risking your neck every day playing through an rpg zelda-inspired dungeon game where your goal is to...well, this isnt really explained either. Just kill whatevers in front of you I guess and collect loot. Kill the first dungeon boss and then the game tells you that using the philosopher's stone you can make an elixir to craft an antidote, which then proceeds to do fuck all, because the game doesnt tell you that this actually opens up the option to watch videos at night with lil sis...and obviously youd need to first purchase a few naughty/horror vhs tapes which again, isnt explained.Sigh...I think you get the gist. This fucking game is sprawling with stuff and mechanics that isnt explained anywhere. Even the bare basics of the UI is not explained, like how the hearts are accumulated, or why theyd change colour, or what that blue bar that occasionally appear around lil sis even fucking means. You spend half your playtime figuring shit up, trying as you might to both figure how the cohabitation or rpg gameplay work. And here's the real kicker: the cohabitation gameplay is excellent. Its just bogged down by unnecessary shit that largely obscure the excellent animations, the content, the emotionally intelligent writing and anticipation of the player's actions. Lil sis behaves and react to just about every little shit you do, and the game is properly coded to allow it. A shame that 90% of players probably never get to see much of it because theyd have given up within a hour of dying over and over in the fucking dungeon.
At the moment of rating this, the game is still in the works. But the vision of what the game will be once its finished is definitely interesting with NLCH's really nice artstyle and though while it's kind of like a simulator whilest being an RPG, I can see the potential that the story may have in the game which I hope the story will flower out even more after further developments. Looking forward towards the finishing product.

When drawing animation, you often end up trapped in a tug-of-war between “performance/efficiency” and “artistry.”
This animation is already good enough—if you released it as-is, most ordinary players probably wouldn’t question whether it’s polished enough. Stopping here would let you update the game at the best cost-performance ratio and the fastest output speed.
But from an artist’s perspective, there are still countless details that can be refined: the motion could be smoother, certain physical nuances could feel more real, facial expressions could be richer… Yet changes that look like “small details” often mean redrawing the animation entirely—doubling the schedule and the cost, and effectively cutting the amount of updates in half.
And our choices are almost always made in pursuit of maximal artistry. We ignore the doubled budget and timeline, keep revising toward an ideal vision, and don’t stop just because the work has reached a level that satisfies the average player. Because what we want to create isn’t a fast-food-style work that simply delivers a large quantity of content—it’s a work with its own unique flavor, or in other words, our distinctive artistic style. We hope that every frame in the game can withstand being watched again and again, rather than existing merely as disposable material consumed for a specific plot beat or gameplay purpose.
We also run into the limits of our own ability—there are parts that still feel unsatisfying even after tremendous effort. But creation isn’t a horse race. You don’t have to beat everyone, win every match, be flawless, be perfect in every direction, or please and satisfy everyone.
We believe the world needs works that don’t follow conventional logic.
Perhaps one day, people will be astonished by what Usuimo has achieved. They may summarize that success into a set of lessons and standardized “solutions.” Yet few will know the choices we made behind the scenes—through countless battles between efficiency and artistry.
In A Simple Life with My Unobtrusive Sister, embark on an enchanting journey as a brave adventurer dedicated to finding the legendary 'Elixir Rubrum,' a potent remedy for your sister's mysterious ailment. Together, you’ll explore whimsical dungeons filled with fantastical creatures, hidden treasures, and countless challenges. Balancing thrilling adventures and cozy sibling moments, this RPG invites you to dive into a world where your bond with your sister strengthens, and every decision counts. As time ticks away, uncover the secrets of the dungeons while deepening your relationship with your beloved sibling!
