Story:

A couple of years after your mother's demise, you barely got by each day.

Emotionally crushed and facing the harsh reality of the world, you get an invitation to KRI (Kyoto Research Institute)

A strange proposition, but it's better than nothing...

Little you know it will uncover a whole new world, after all you wanted to meet new faces.

That world... It will test your very morals and your humanity.

Characters:

Janus Mildred (MC/Name User-defined) (24M): Hailing from the US, his mother was a well known quantum theorist.  Janus was shoved unto the harsh reality of the world, barely hanging and without many options he is invited to KERI as an "Ether-User".

Nova Gemini (21F): An enigmatic woman powerful in the Ether, cheerful, prideful and naive. However behind that smile there is something else...

Rhona Harding (32F): An Irish Ex-Merc that is incredibly happy-go-lucky and loves to crack jokes like no tomorrow. She is now appointed as your guardian, will look unto the wellbeing of your team and offer advice from time to time.

Alicia González (22F): A Spanish girl from Enostrum (a neo-union born from the ashes of Europe). She has lost all but hope.

Kiiro Hotaru (18F): A girl from Japan who just left the seclusion of her home, behind that frail frame, lies a terrifying power. She yearns for a normal life, yet she can easily falter and spiral down unto destruction.

Kianga Thabisa (21F): An energetic and pure minded tomboy from the African Coalition who is more than eager to help others in need, often playful and never having ill intentions, her wish is to change the world and to become a hero, Dreadsteel is an opportunity to do so, yet in a world were death is common means her virtues will be put to test.

Andrea Villarey (22F): Nostalgic, and stuck in the past. Andrea hails from Latin Union, barely finding motivation in her life, being invited to KRI was a way to finally break that monotonous day after day.

Ryabchik Morozov (24F): Also known as the "Chilling Death" among the North Asian Remnants, her skin almost as pale as the Russian Winter, and her piercing red eyes being said to be death herself.
