Between Beasts

Between Beasts is a casual romance game with an orc theme. Players are accidentally transported to another world, where they will encounter beautiful orcs of different races. Together, they will explore this vast world, building deep bonds and gradually uncovering the reason and truth behind their journey. As the story progresses, players will learn about the orcs' personalities and secrets, completely winning their hearts and souls and unlocking incredibly exciting animated scenes. The game will also be continuously updated, introducing more orc races and further storylines, bringing players more fresh experiences and enjoyment.

Complete rework about Roxanne’s story. Forget about the zoo walking old story, that stuff got completely deleted and reworked

Huge chapter with Roxanne. Keep in mind that in order to continue Roxanne’s story you’ll need to at least: 

Complete Prometheus story with any of the ending,

Have at least 2 of affection with her. 

After doing this, go to the zoo at night and talk with her using “Can we talk?” option

An special event involving Ashe and Lily: 

After completing 3rd day of Ashe, and 5th day of Lily, AND, Completing the halloween event (the plant one), you can go to the park during Noon and Ashe will be there.

Important changes:

Playing Roxanne’s pregnancy mini-game will cause her to get pregnant if you push the button enough! After this, go and interact with her again to watch the event!

From now On, characters won’t move their arms anymore! We are preparing the system to implement the skin-change menu!

Known issues:

Wait… wasn’t it animated?? ::::::::: An unexpected problem came across when we were doing character IDLE animations; apparently, in order for them to work properly (with different emotion faces and mouths and that) we need to create very complex systems for each character so it can do lip sync stuff. At the end we turned back to the classic static IDLE, we won’t be animating character IDLEs anymore, instead of this, we’ll focus into animating the sexual scenes. Maybe in the future we’ll think about creating this complex systems for each character, but for now it is not viable. Sorry about this!!!

What I have to say, it is a very solid game for it's genre, best aspects that I liked are the different kind of casts throughout the game, the simple story progression for each character might be boring for some however in my opinion keeping it simple like it is is best. And the best of all the pacing for the scenes is on point. However while the pacing for the scenes is good the interchange between characters isn't that great, what I mean by that is that the ratio of actions that you can do by night compared to morning and specially afternoon isn't that equal, perhaps changing some of the interactions to be at afternoon like the store would be good. And for last I would like to see a way to get the other scenes without having to make a new save. Like it had before where it would reset all interactions with a character instead of repeating the last day, maybe an item or place to reset would be good or even somewhere to unlock all scenes would work aswell.

So far, there are not too many interactions, the drawing and characters are very "delicious", we will wait for the next updates, and it would be nice to have more characters, the mini-games are a little too much, but in general it's fine so far, there is not music in all moments, I would like the characteristics to influence the conversation more strongly than just kind and dominant.

Developer note of Between Beasts:

BB is currently in development, this is our first project and we will continue developing the game no matter what, nerveless, we still have to be clear that this project is not, at least for now, our main job; we need to eat, and for that, we have other jobs (not very fun but yeah, we all know adult life works like that).

The moment we can live from our own projects we will quit our current jobs and spend full time developing BB and... other cool stuff we have in mind. But for now we can only develop this project and all the future ones in our free time. Anyway, we will try our best to bring fresh and good content to the game even if its not our main income source!!!
