Dane

Dane is a Viking-themed adult role-playing game where players take on the role of a wounded warrior rescued by numerous sexy women in a village. To protect them, players must explore the village, interact with its residents, gradually build reputation, and win the women's favor. Ultimately, players become the village chief, leading their villagers in battles against other Viking tribes to become the ruler of the land. As Dane's story progresses, players can engage in intimate interactions with the village's beautiful women, unlocking various stimulating H-scenes. Gameplay:

In Dane, you wake up on the banks of a cold and wet river, with only fragments of memories of a recent storm in your head. A woman and her daughter find you and rescue you, bringing you to their village. Here, amidst the harsh northern nature, your new life begins. You spend the first few days getting to know the residents and helping them carry out various tasks.

Life in the countryside is just the beginning. You will develop personal relationships, perform heroic deeds, and face many challenges. For example, you can help your savior's daughter take care of the garden where she grows rare herbs for alchemical potions. In return, she will share valuable knowledge with you. In the evenings, you can listen to the legends and legends around the campfire, which the older woman tells.

For a successful life in this world, it is important not only to be strong, but also to be able to properly allocate your time. The key to prosperity is the synergy between developing social connections and completing tasks. Don't neglect communicating with key characters, even if it takes time. Helping with household chores can lead to unique quests, recipes, and support in the future.

As you explore the world, you will be able to discover new possibilities. From a helpless exile, you will turn into an influential leader, able to unite people and lead them on hikes, for example, to abandoned ruins. Collect powerful artifacts to gain new abilities. Many plot forks will allow you to create a unique saga.

Huge thanks for all the support that keeps this game growing stronger every month!So this month I started heading in the direction of our final release promised on the roadmap for Jan 2027! Although, I already had to adjust a few things...

Now... confession time.This month was supposed to be Kara + the Seer, as voted by you guys. But I went a little overboard. Kara's route is an absolute monster, and it took me way more time to finish than planned, so the Seer got pushed to the next update.

Are we still on track for the Jan 2027 release? I think so. I hope so! I gave myself some extra time in the final months, and Edda’s story is practically done, so I plan to use that buffer to compensate for any delays. Plus, not all characters will have a story as insanely long as Kara’s, so I think we are safe.

Just to give you an idea of the scale, Kara's story so far has 27 pages of text, 7,427 words, 943 speeches, and 61,897 characters! It is a lot!

I actually started adding audio to Revna's story too, but... I wasn't happy with what was done. So it will stay in the oven for next month while I figure out how to improve it.

I also did a lot of back-end work, starting to prepare the Steam Demo, translating the game into other languages, writing and fixing scripts for other characters, and I'm finally starting to put together a new trailer! It's time to update the old Steam page since it still has the old game art.

Player Comments:

Overall, pretty good game. The writing is... serviceable, with my main complaint being that thigns sometimes move very fast. The game appears to want to go very broad, and I usually prefer a more focused approach, but hey, I wont complain. There are some pacing issues that are adjacent to the writing, for example you at some point unlock the ability to battle at the dock, which is the source of income, but the game never tells you you can do this now (and in fact it is implied you aren't ready to raid yet), so I missed it for a while. Also, for how often you see the next day animation, it takes too damn long, and it's frustrating because it's also not very clear when you can click out of it.Overall, decent game. Not quite enough content to get off on yet, but pretty fun, and holds some promise.

I was surprised by the low ratings so I tried it myself. Thought people were capping or that the devs made the content free but it’s just the Patreon version that has everything. You can see the adult scenes there just don’t expect too much.I’m actually liking the game so far. It’s a bit generic since everything runs on rails and there’s not much real tension for the MC - no “steal the girl from her boyfriend behind his back” moments (the MILF doesn’t count, lol). Still, it follows the usual formula: interact, do mini-games, advance the story. Sometimes paths cross between love interests, which works fine - not too deep, not too silly.The mini-games are easy but look great. I was shocked how smooth the visuals and animations are, probably thanks to some mix of AI and hand animation use - no weird warping like in other games I saw. The package is nice overall, especially with the walkthrough and preview of future characters. Only downside: most of the ecchi content is behind a paywall, so unless the Patreon version leaks, the free one might feel a bit empty.
