FILF is a story-driven and choice-based casual game where players return to their long-lost hometown and are greeted by their mother, sister, aunt, and other relatives, rediscovering the warmth of family bonds. However, as the story progresses and players spend more time interacting with different family members, new emotional bonds will develop. Players must make choices in various dialogues to either promote or prevent these feelings from budding. What will ultimately happen? It all depends on the player's choices. Each character in the game has an independent storyline, and each choice the player makes will affect their affection level, thus determining whether intimate scenes and animations for that character are unlocked.

This game is pretty good, I'm giving it 5 stars overall although I would give it 4.5 if I could because it's certainly not perfect.The story is good enough, some parts are particularly good, the writing is also ok.The renders are very good and same goes for the animations. There are quite a bit of scenes although some are not mandatory for the story so you have to trigger them specifically.I feel like the sandbox elements could've been a little more user friendly and the game could definitely use a bunch of QOL adjustments. They could have a quick button allowing you to get back to your room (easy to go to sleep) and they should allow you to open the map from wherever you are instead of just when you are outside. There are a bunch of scenes that are optional to the story but the game doesn't give you that small notification telling you that there is something that could be done in that location/with that person so you have to do some hunting and keep in mind to revisit actions that previously had some locked options. I think with these QOL changes I would give it a 5/5.

F.I.L.F. is a polished VN with smooth pacing, no grind, and attractive renders. The story is linear but well-written, focusing on the MC’s steamy relationships with his family. Tension builds effectively, and the animations are solid. However, the lack of meaningful choices makes it feel more like a kinetic novel, limiting replay-ability. Sandbox elements are unintuitive, often leaving players wandering without clear direction. The sound design is average, and the MC can feel bland compared to the supporting cast. Overall, it’s hot, engaging, and easy to follow, but shallow in interactivity.

One of the games that I started my journey with and now that it's completed I decided to play it again. It's nice but I don't much like the sandbox games as they kind of get repeatative and I had to go through some troubles of my own making that caused me to start the story 4 times before I was able to finish this one and enjoyed it completely the renders are gorgeous and LIs are lovely.

Depending on your experience in sandbox games like this you may feel this one is a bit short, I think the quantity of content is good, the renders and animations are great besides a weird face or wonky movement every now and then, no sound effects but theres royalty free music which is cool. The whole story is based heavily on porn logic (I know, what a surprise) but what I mean is don't expect a complex story or something like that, this goes straight to the point and that's cool, you don't have to grind or I didn't feel like that was the case. Lovely game for what it is and the time it was made, hope F.I.L.F 2 was real.
