This is a fun game to play to kill some time. It reminds me of the old arcade style space ship games.It does work on steam deck, and it works with a controller. The game does not have controller support fully integrated into the game menus, but still works with a controller. It’s still in early access and needs some work done to it such as extra content, more weapons, ships, etc.If enough work was put into this, this could also be a really fun multiplayer game too.For the price, I’d say it’s worth buying.

Although it is still in early access this game delivers plenty of excitement and a nostalgic/retro feel which I really like, plus the music is a vibe. The possibility to branch out with various upgrades or to focus on maxing out one aspect gives a lot of room to experiment depending on your preferred playstyle. And yes, you can pet the furry (or slippery) companions. Looking forward to seeing what else will be added in the future!
