In Baldi's Basics Birthday Bash, the player's goal is to find all the scattered quest items. However, this is no easy task. After solving a few simple arithmetic problems, players will encounter a tricky challenge. Mr. Buddy is clearly very unhappy with the poor performance. He begins to torment and punish the students, slowly depleting their energy bars. Only the bravest and most adventurous players can dodge his attacks and escape safely. Fantastic Characteristics

Mr. Buddy reappears in the same hallway, but this time he's wearing a green, orange, and blue party hat. He says, "Oh, hi! Welcome to my party!" instead of "school." Furthermore, when telling players to claim their reward, he omits "a shiny coin!" and "Then, when you find something you can use it on, select the coin and right-click the item. That's how you use items, you know!"

Each item is random and hidden in a blue-green gift box. All BSODA and Zesty vending machines have been replaced with "Crazy Items" vending machines, selling random items each time. A poster on the front of the vending machine reads, "Get Crazy Items!"

Colorful balloons float in the hallways and classrooms, and they even open revolving doors. Some characters wear party hats, the "Sweeping Pro's" brush is covered in confetti, and the music for "Game Time" has changed. The text next to "Bully" has changed from "This is the Bully" to "This is the Party." A giant cake sits in the center of the cafeteria, next to a small elevator platform.

After collecting all seven notebooks, the game forces the player to reach the cafeteria exit last, as this exit only appears after the other three exits have been reached. When the player reaches the exit, the screen doesn't show the ending as usual; instead, the colors return to normal, all the actors appear behind the player cheering, and confetti rains down from the ceiling. Afterward, the player must take the elevator platform to the top of the cake and blow out the candles.

Wonderful Performance

After the player blows out the candles, the entire school building will darken, and other characters will float to a similar height to the player, but they cannot interact or move. The player can float above the floor to leave the elevator platform. There are entrances to corridors on either side of the cafeteria's roof, leading to the Glitch School—a floor above the school building, resembling a glitch map.

A rapid, random sound of a ruler being slapped, its volume fluctuating, occurs, but the sound doesn't come from Baldi. Two rooms in the Glitch School contain salmon-colored notebooks. These notebooks function normally, but when played, they emit strange glitch sound effects: Baldi repeatedly says "1" in both directions, looping on a loop. The bass part is the principal saying "99 seconds," but at a noticeably slower pace. Collecting these notebooks doesn't affect gameplay, but it increases the notebook counter. Each time a notebook is collected, if a question is answered incorrectly, Baldloon will say in a deep voice, "You need to collect two notebooks to use these doors." If the player uses some cheat to answer the third question correctly, the music will continue playing even if the player isn't on the "thinking board." Additionally, when solving the notebooks below the school (the ones you've collected), blowing out the candles will loop the audio, but sometimes an overlapping image of "You need to collect two notebooks to use these doors" will appear.

One corridor leads to the puzzle room. After the player inputs the correct number of Baldloon "s," a wall will open, revealing a room with a circle of chairs and a blackboard, accompanied by Baldloon's exclamation of "Wow!" The blackboard reads, "Wow! You're so clever!" Upon entering the room, the game begins generating glitchy red Baldloon "s" that emerge from the walls, emitting glitch sounds and following the player. Distorted Baldi posters also randomly appear on the walls.

As the player attempts to escape the glitchy school, more and more red Baldloon "S" appear. Eventually, their numbers become so overwhelming that the player struggles to move and may even get stuck on the ceiling. After a while, a distorted "Thank you!" message appears on the screen (originally used on the Kickstarter page), leaving the player with no choice but to close the game.

In this Baldi's Basics Birthday Bash game, the gameplay is almost identical to the classic Baldi, with only minor modifications. Baldi is still in the same hallway, but this time he's wearing a green, orange, and blue party hat. You need to collect all the notebooks, answer the questions correctly, and escape the school.
