Learning Where To Upgrade Gear: North of where players start is a little town on the coast of Pawt Purvanna. Here, players can go to the weapon shop, run by Kidd Cat, who can strengthen gear for a nominal fee. There is also Mage Bonney who runs a magic shop to boost spells. Finally, there is a pub where players can sometimes learn about typical RPG side quests.While the shop resources are great, players shouldn’t take advantage of them right away. It would be a waste of currency to upgrade early as this is more or less a loot-based game. From hidden treasure on the world map to treasure found in caves, loot will be frequent thus negating early upgrades.

Healing Like A Good White Meowage: The checkpoint stations are great in this game besides getting the ability to launch co-op. There is another way to heal in Cat Quest 3 besides these checkpoints or leveling up though. Now, there are a lot of great places to go early on which is the point of an open-world sailing game.It’s an absolute must that players visit the Lovepurr Islands where Lovepurr Castle is located. Here, they can start a side quest that will probably take a while from an attendant. They will also give players the spell, Healpaw, which will regain the player’s health for a short period. It’s like the Regen spell from Final Fantasy which is a top-tier ability from White Mages.

Cycling Between Weapons And Spells: Initially, players can equip one spell and two weapons. They can have a sword along with a ranged weapon like a gun. What spell is equipped doesn’t matter as players can have a mix of offensive and defensive spells or they could go defensive all the way. When players level up, they will reach new tiers in the equipment menu which applies to the cat hero along with the ship.Players must remember to keep up with equipping new gear when possible. It’s also a good idea to cycle through weapons and spells during combat. First, players should use their spell, then their gun, and end with the sword. Once enough Mana is recharged or the gun is reloaded, players should start the cycle all over again.

Dear Developer, please clean up your Cat Quest series distributions. Cat Quest 1 isavailable on Steam for Mac, but not on the Mac App Store. The iPhone/iPad App Storedoesn't work for Mac, so if you want controller support and have a Mac, you must get theSteam version. Cat Quest 2 is not available on Steam for Mac, but if you buy it via theiPhone/iPad App Store, it'll work on Mac. Cat Quest 3 is available on the App Store andMac App Store (same purchase with iCloud sync), but not on Steam for Mac. Thepreference (IMO) is all the Cat Quests be made available via App Store / Mac App Storefor iCloud syncing. Ideally, make Cat Quest 1 App Store work with a controller and beavailable for Mac. Make Cat Quest 2 available in the Mac App Store as well since it workswith Mac. Summary please make all the Cat Quests universal like Cat Quest 3 workingwith iCloud and controllers. Otherwise, great games ...

I loved this game. I beat it and was disappointed in the final boss because it was over andnow the game comes to an end. I'm not the one to play through a game more than once,which is what is expected at the end because you unlock modded modes that make thenext playthrough more difficult BUT I want my character that I worked hard on if I'mgoing to do that not start from scratch. It's not one of those games where you have abunch of story line options.

I've played this game for about a good 12 hours now and I LOVE it!!! It has such abeautifully rich art style and the little details in the graphics is seriously so impressive! Ioften find myself just exploring the sea just to stare at the boat animations haha! Also theitems that you collect over time are really fun to use and none of them feel unusable!They often fill different roles and it's very satisfying to collect all the items in a set andget to use them and wear them as cosmetic items! I also really enjoyed the side quests!!My favorite one was one where you'd help deliver mail from place to place (which you'dthink would be very tedious haha) but actually was very enjoyable and heartwarming!!Ihighly recommend this game for anyone who loves exploration, RPGs, cute animals, anda subtle overarching story that will make you emotional at the least expected moments!!Love love love this game and I'm so happy I got a chance to finally play it!
