Amazing Storyline of Mistrick

You play as the narcissistic criminal John Blank, who finds himself unexpectedly trapped in a bizarre, alternate dimension. Shortly after his arrival, he encounters a former cellmate—the executed serial killer, Chase Colt. Chase claims that John is already dead, but this is quickly revealed to be a malicious lie fabricated solely to keep John trapped within this world. Will John manage to find a way to escape, or will he succumb to the myriad traps lurking within this malevolent place?

Author's Note of Mistrick

*Mistrick* is a spin-off title derived from my other game, *Misfiction*. You can fully understand and enjoy *Mistrick* even if you haven't played *Misfiction*, as the plot of *Misfiction* is briefly summarized in the opening animation of *Mistrick* (and the subsequent plot details aren't strictly essential to the story here). That said, if you do intend to play *Misfiction* at some point, I recommend playing *Misfiction* first—or simply skipping the opening animation of *Mistrick*—as it contains spoilers for *Misfiction*. 

Final Words

In *Mistrick*, players take on the role of John Blank—the villain from the previous installment. After being struck and killed by a car, he does not pass on to the afterlife; instead, he finds himself trapped in a purgatory-like alternate dimension—imprisoned by none other than his former cellmate, Chase Colt. John is determined to escape this place and return to a normal life, but to achieve this goal, he must first fight to survive.
