BALLxPIT is a simulation game that blends base building and Roguelite elements. Players use different types of spheres to crash into and bounce off waves of enemies. As players defeat more enemies, they can upgrade their spheres and combine different items and equipment to inflict even more damage. As a Roguelite game, each level up grants different buffs and equipment, and introduces more randomized enemies, adding to the game's fun. Players can also construct various buildings to enhance their defenses and damage, giving them a significant advantage.

Gameplay of BALL x PIT:

It’s safe to say that BALL x PIT boasts quite interesting, engaging, and diverse gameplay. The game combines ball-shooting, adventure, and base-building genres. Above ground, you can farm and build structures to increase your strength. Underground, you’ll face numerous monsters armed with powerful balls.

To begin exploring BALL x PIT, we need to choose a character. Each character has their own unique fighting style, allowing them to enter a mysterious abyss. Here, you’ll shoot different types of balls, which will bounce off walls, ricochet, and inflict damage on enemies. You’ve probably experienced this genre many times, but you’ve probably never played a game as exciting as this one.

As mentioned above, to conquer BALL x PIT, we need to descend deeper. Each level of this abyss is filled with monsters and powerful bosses. Fighting with your balls will earn you experience and level you up. You’ll then get to randomly choose new weapons or effects – which will also help you survive longer. This is quite similar to the previous survivor games we’ve introduced, but with a vertical scrolling screen style.

Strategies of BALL x PIT:

Bounce Those Balls: As a general rule of thumb, rather than just shooting straight at an enemy, you should look for gaps in the front line that allow your balls to bounce between enemies and walls, causing them to get stuck behind enemy lines, and making them rapidly bounce multiple times off different enemies, dealing damage with each bounce. Be aware, though, that this general rule of thumb can change depending on how your build goes. Some builds may favor a more straightforward approach of attacking from the front with big single-target damage, or AOE explosions after a single hit, so just be aware of the direction your run is going.

Always Use Auto-Shooting(Mostly): You should basically always keep auto-shooting on, but turning it off can help if you need to move faster – like when swooping behind enemy lines to grab a power-up. This applies to most characters except The Itchy Finger, whose passive ability lets him move at full speed at all times. The same goes if you pick up the Fleet Feet passive power-up – it lets you run at full speed even while shooting, and increases your movement speed to boot.

Know Your Character: Every character has a starting weapon, different stats, and a unique passive (except the starting Warrior character), and it’s important to take all of those distinct elements into consideration during your run. If your character has high Leadership, you should try to get a build that leans into that strength, which focuses on creating lots of baby balls. On the flip side, if your character has high intelligence, you’ll want to try and enhance that by aiming for balls that focus on AOE damage, like lightning or earthquake. If your passive lets you fire balls that pass through enemies until they reach the backline, you focus on upgrades that enhance that ability and don’t double up on it. That said, don’t focus so much on your strengths that you neglect to try and mitigate your weaknesses. If you’re playing as the Embedded and you focus all of your effort on strengthening your ability to wreck the backline thanks to your passive, you might struggle when a boss closes the gap and you don’t have any close-range damage.

Don’t Just Stick to One Character: You’ll gain some pretty significant advantages if you don’t just focus on a single character. Certain characters will give you a percentage of extra gold for choosing them before starting your run, some structures give you bonuses for every unique character that has beaten a level, and each character also has their own level progression with rewards at specific milestones that will aid you when it comes to base building and resource gathering.

This game is great. There are a ton of characters that unlock as you play and I love howthey each can dramatically change how the game is played. I also really appreciate thelevel variety. I have played many rogue-likes and one of my complaints of those (like slaythe spire for example) is a lack of this. I just wanted to note there are no in-apppurchases except to buy the full game. (I was a little worried when I saw the label for in-app purchases.)Hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion: could you try to implementan alternative (optional) control scheme for play with just a single finger? Aiming couldbe done by pressing on the field where you want to aim, and to move the character, youcould just press the character and drag (they would follow where you drag based on theircurrent move speed). This would especially help with a couple characters that i founddifficult to control (such as the juggler) and be more mobile/casual friendly. Thank youfor making an awesome game!

This is a game that was originally designed for and released on other platforms and wasported to iOS, the touch controls work ok but controller works a lot better. This is not aphone game, it's a real game that was ported to phone, if that makes sense. If you don'tplan on using a controller, the touch controls are a bit clunky, but I wouldn't say it'sunplayable by any means. If you have a console controller or a mobile controller layingaround, get ready for a really awesome game that's definitely worth the cost.

I played this on Xbox game pass first just on a fluke. Not my normal type of game. Andabsolutely could not put it down. I said out loud "this would be great on mobile" And twomonths later. Bam here it is. Incredibly addictive. Gorgeous art style. And THE MUSICSLAPS! Music on a $10 video game has no business going this hard. Same class asGoldeneye pause music. (Ifykyk) I walk around humming the opening theme just to gethyped for the gym or to plan an art heist. Well done, developers.

Currently, the only supported platform for the in-game Twitch integration is PC.

Unfortunately, the Ball is quite literally in their court Pit.

An error pops up when viewers try to vote for fusing 2 of the same balls.

You cannot fuse two balls of the same type together (e.g. Bleed cannot fuse with Bleed). If a majority of your viewers vote for a duplicate combination, you will run into this error. We’re working on a fix to stop people from voting for doubles.
