Crafting System: The game offers a very unique crafting system. Players can create items suitable for post-apocalyptic life like this. But you must know the formula. That only happens when you level up.

Survival Crafting: The most important thing is making weapons. Players must also create clothes and many other things to use for defense. Furthermore, a solid base must be created to resist the enemy’s sudden attack. They were born to hunt humans.

Cooperative Play: There will be extremely difficult challenges, and players need to cooperate with others to win. So, making new friends is important for a victory.

PvP Battles: People in this world fight even harder. Resources are scarce; sometimes, you must kill your kind to save your life. In Crater City, you will participate in PvP matches to gain resources for yourself and your loved ones in the bunker.

Explosives: The most dangerous are weapons of mass destruction like C4 and mortars. There are only a few guns like this, so you must calculate your strategy to use them carefully.

Strategies:

Look out for Alpha Base, Crashed Plane or Army Supply Drop: After building your base, you can start to explore different area on your world map. Alpha Base, Crashed Plane or Army Supply Drops should be your priority, as these are the best place to gather valuable materials. Army Supply Drops are not much to excited about, you will only find common or midrange materials from it (sometimes useful materials), but in Crashed Plane and Alpha Base (accessible after you acquire an A card), there is a high chance you will find military suits or a gun (which offers a greatly improved protection).

Build you base: Your base will keep your belongings safe from invasion or light zombie attacks, so you should build it as soon as possible. A small house that can occupy one or two Small Box is more than enough at the beginning (you can expand it later on). Get the Garden Bed and Raincatcher too, so you will not be running out of food and water. You will get some cans and water on a daily basis anyway but it might be not enough. Remember to secure your base in a full wrap around and remember to add a door (well, I guess I don’t need to specify why).

Keep the unnecessary items in your base: You will be able to craft a Casual Backpack that doubles your inventory space very soon, but it is still far from enough to keep all the resource you get from exploring outside. With a full inventory, you won’t be able to collect resources thus needed to go back and forth from your base to space up your inventory (which is obviously wasting your time and energy). Why don’t you just keep all the unnecessary belongings (those you won’t use it frequently) in your base and space up your inventory to the maximum whenever you are going out?

Don’t bring all your belongings along: Once you die you will lose everything in your inventory (including those you are equipping), therefore you should never bring all your resources along. You can split items and save some of them (if you really needs it) or just keep them all in your base.

Don’t waste your ammo: You may find it fun to blast out all the zombies with guns, but I would highly disrecommend you to do so. Instead of using your ammo against zombies that attack you alone, you should conserve your ammo for the large hordes. While for those individual zombies, a basic spear is enough to take them out.

Player Comments:

Returning player, there have been significant improvements made to the game. Good content has been added to provide more variety, and there are still large opportunities to further expand the story, events, and map. Do not be under any illusions. The game is based around a continuous grind but still remains engaging. Ads are used for optional extras and shortcuts. These are actually optional and limited to 10 per day. Other monetisation will speed progress but F2P is very doable.

I suggest for future major updates to change the attack button — instead of clicking and auto-attacking, make it more interactive. For example, when shooting, players could aim manually with a joystick on zombies. Another idea is to allow base expansion. With new updates, space is getting cramped, and letting players expand would encourage creative building. Lastly, it would be fun if friends could visit our base in the main mode sometimes, not just in multiplayer. Thanks for considering these!

I reinstalled the game after many years and I can honestly say it has improved a lot. The events are really fun and rewarding, and even though grinding is needed, I enjoy playing every day. My only suggestion is about the energy system: 200 energy runs out very fast, even with the chopper. It would be great if we could upgrade the max energy, just like the chopper. I’d even pay to store 300 or 500 energy. Great game overall!

One suggestion I have is to improve the durability system. Weapons and armor break quite quickly, especially higher-tier gear that takes a lot of time and resources to craft. Adjusting durability or adding better repair options would make the experience even more enjoyable. Overall its a fun game.
