SAS Zombie Assault 3 is a highly popular action-adventure game where players are placed in a post-apocalyptic world. Players can choose to be a lone wolf or team up with up to three others to begin their survival adventure in a zombie-infested world. Facing unique terrains on different maps, players must choose from dozens of weapons and work in perfect coordination with their teammates to shoot down hordes of zombies. Continuously leveling up your character unlocks more powerful weapons and skills, giving players greater firepower to face increasingly ferocious zombies. The game will continue to be updated, introducing more maps, weapons, and gameplay modes, providing players with an even more engaging gaming experience.
SAS 3 introduces a new style of gameplay not seen in previous games of the series. In SAS: Zombie Assault, the gameplay focused around surviving while in a single structure, with weapons being bought from a pause menu using in-game currency. In SAS 2, gameplay was built around the idea of traversing a series of rooms while spending in-game currency to access new areas and find new weapons to purchase.
In SAS 3, players can choose from 1 of 5 maps (20 maps in the mobile version) and have to survive for a number of rounds dependent upon the players' rank. After the number of rounds are completed and all zombies are eliminated, players are given a certain amount of experience which allows them to level up and are returned to a menu. From this screen, players can purchase new weapons dependent upon their rank and can select a new map to play through. In the mobile version, players can also buy from a large variety of armor with in-game currency, a first for the series.
After each round on a map, a certain portion of lost health is automatically returned to the player and also when Health Regen skill used. If a player dies in single-player, or if all players die in multi-player, the amount of experience received is reduced dramatically, usually up to 80% or more. Upon completion of a map, players earn an amount of experience which generally scales up according to the player's current rank.

The gameplay centers around players taking on the role of elite SAS operatives tasked with eliminating waves of zombies. With the option to play solo or join forces with up to three other players in co-op mode, the game offers various challenges that require strategic teamwork and quick reflexes. The cooperative aspect enables seamless play between Android and iOS users, enhancing the multiplayer experience.
SAS Zombie Assault 3 features an extensive rank system that allows players to unlock 50 different ranks. Each rank comes with its own set of rewards, including new weapons and perks that enhance gameplay. This progression system encourages players to continue improving their skills and experimenting with different weapons and strategies.
The arsenal in SAS Zombie Assault 3 is diverse, featuring 44 different weapons that players can utilize to combat the undead. These weapons include powerful options such as Auto Shotguns, Browning Machine Guns, Flamethrowers, and RPGs, each offering unique advantages in battle. Additionally, players have access to two classes of sentry guns and three types of grenades, allowing for effective room-clearing tactics against incoming zombie swarms.
Challenging maps add another layer of depth to the game. There are 17 unique maps, each designed with distinct hazards and kill zones that require players to adapt their strategies. The environments vary significantly, ensuring that players encounter new challenges with every match. This variety keeps gameplay fresh and engaging.
Zombies also come in multiple forms, with 12 different types posing unique threats to players. The game is designed to support graphics that allow for hundreds of zombies to appear on screen simultaneously, creating a chaotic yet exhilarating atmosphere as players fend off relentless attacks. The diversity in zombie types ensures that players must continuously adapt their tactics to survive.

Does it suck to have an very unsuccessful team with idiots? Well... I'll teach you simple ways to have an successful team.
First, have passion with your weapons and everything in it! Make sure to handle your weapons nicely, or else you'll struggle with these Zombies and Undead creatures.
Second, the maps you're playing, effects everything! Some time, you just play by the rules. Do you see holes that the Zombies and Undead spawn? Make sure NOT to let these creatures get you.
Third, everybody should know! Watch your back, that's the #1 thing that should be teach. That's why everybody has a radar.
Fourth, save your teammates first. Do you know why? If you know that your teammates are really good, save 'em!
Fifth, kill the less damage Zombies and Undeads.
Although ads are FRIGGIN ANNOYING, don't skip them if you want to accumulate precious money, especially at the lower rank levels.
Machine guns are powerful and have largest clip sizes. Yet they have VERY long reload times, expensive ammunition ($750 for 250 rounds), and slow you down significantly. Note: LMGs are NOT recommended until rank 35+!
A common though: "Play daily missions that gives out free grenades!!!" Wrong. You do not get the grenades, turrents, etc. (for future updates) at the end of the mission.
Some weak guns received early on in the game become extremely effective when fully upgraded. In addition, most upgrades for these guns are extremely cheap.

This game is very good. As one of the longest standing games on the appstore it remainsa classic that I revisit often. I can sit down and shoot down a 2k zombie hoard with quickmatchmaking (kudos on that) with up to 3 other people and all in under tenminutes.Where the game falls short however is the presence of several bugs which makeinvesting more time into it tedious. Turret inventory does not always carry over betweenmatches. SAS bucks which you win during clan and solo PvP events refuse to beawarded although I constantly gather the prerequisite points and place in qualifying prizebrackets (I haven't won a single SAS buck yet). My Al "buddy", although activated andoutfitted, often times does not spawn with me in matches and therefor makes spendingmoney on him pointless. Grenade inventory, like turrets, often do not stay with youbetween matches meaning you have to use them when you pick them up or risk losingthem. As it stands, the functions that "need" to perform properly work well and the gameis playable and fun. But you have to ignore many of the bugs present in additional faucetsof the game or they will annoy you out of putting in more time.
I have enjoyed this game for a long time, and it is a great game nonetheless, but there area few issues I have when playing. The first issue is that when I finish an Apocalypsegame, returning to the Main Menu is a can't do as the game crashes (but I still get thecredits I earned like cash and Z-Points). Also, I finish tournaments like Z-Rush andregular Tournaments, but no reward is given, when we clearly deserved one as we wouldbe at 10K in Z-Points and the rest around 1K or less, but we get no reward! The sameoccurrence exists with regular Tournaments, I literally just finished a regular Tournamentwith about 8K Z-Points more than 2nd place and when the tournament finished, itshowed My Reward and how many Z-Points I collected, both had something in common,ZERO! Please fix this issue as soon as y'all can, thanks. (I hope y'all read these reviewsbecause we really don't want to be let down).
used to play this game years ago and don't get me wrong I still like this game a lot and Ilove the mood of the game and all the weapons and stuff like that, but it hurts to see thatthey just left this game in the dirt. This game would still be just as good and maybeprofitable if they had kept the servers up, because after you get past karnival you aren'tallowed to install any of the maps afterwards and that just ruins the entire point ofcampaign and since there's no multiplayer anymore aswell there's no other way to playthe game. You're only limited to the 3 starter levels since they didn't put all the gamecontent in the game. Seriously though I miss this game and I don't know why they had toshut it down. Please ninja kiwi bring the game back or atleast make it where the maps canbe downloaded with the game, and not an additional download.
SAS Zombie Assault 3 delivers a satisfying zombie-slaying experience loaded with content, intense action, and a well-developed progression system. Despite issues with difficulty spikes, monetization pressure, and somewhat clunky controls, it remains a compelling choice for fans of arcade shooters and cooperative play.
