Leviathan is a player-driven casual game where players are immersed in a futuristic world teeming with giant monsters. Embark on a legendary treasure hunt, recruiting sexy female crew members to join you on your adventure. Stroy of Leviathan:

The world has changed in the year 2092. Decades have passed since the fall of the Progenitor meteor, carrying upon it the greatest monsters mankind has ever seen: Leviathans.

You are a sailor, a cowboy on the newest frontier. The oceans are more dangerous than any place on earth, filled with nigh unkillable beasts. Where there is danger, so too is there profit, glory, and power. Following in the footsteps of your father, you seek to become a legend. 

With your last job going sideways, you're forced to adapt, and ultimately find a secret that turns your misfortune into the greatest treasure hunt the world has ever seen.  You must assemble your crew, gather information, and survive the many threats that want your head on a platter. A captain's crew is his life, and you're blessed with a crew of beauties who are more than just a pretty face.  

Choose your romance, shape your personality, your role in the world is determined by your choices. Only you can forge your destiny.

Leviathan 0.4 is now officially released. It was a bit late due to some issues with the new UI integration, but ultimately I pulled an all-nighter and put it together. Leviathan 0.4 has added:

19,000 new words to the script

New music for every new scene

A reworked SFX system

0.4 has been a labor of love, it's the longest update by far, with every other update combined taking as long to put together. I had some personal setbacks due to dealing with college, but the primary focus of 0.4 has always been to elevate the level of quality and professionalism to a place that I'm comfortable with. This is the first update that makes me truly feel that Leviathan deserves to be in the discussion for properly polished and high-quality AVNs. This is a shorter update, tying together two arcs and fleshing out the characters, but nonetheless there are quite a few developments in the story, as well as new characters introduced. I've taken into consideration the feedback I've received from previous updates and made many adjustments and edits to previous portions of the game as well.

Good, but not too special. Well done, but with flaws. Sex scenes are too short.It's more or less what you'd expect, based on the description.The girls are good, with real personalities. The story is interesting.Sometimes the writing is a little hard to make sense of, but it gets better as it goes. There are typos, and a pair of extremely jarring switches from second person to third person narration.There are some good choices, but it's difficult to know what the impact of them is.The protagonist's torso looks emaciated, until near the end of 0.4,So, I like it, and will definitely keep playing. But there's nothing about it that makes it special (ie 5 stars), at least for now. It could go up in the future.

There's actually effort put into this one, in the sense that there's a world, some lore, a story... it's not just your typical dude who just stumbles into a harem during his every day life or another boring university setting.A diverse cast of gorgeous LI.A neither boring nor over the top MC. Not a pushover, but he has a backstory, his skills are "earned", there's room for growth, but he's actually truly supported by the rest of his cast, they aren't just placeholders.An intriguing story that leaves me wanting for more : leviathans, how they evolve, their origin, the implication that there seems to be "factions" within their ranks, and so on.The writing is good. I don't mean the story, I mean the actual writing. It feels like it's not written by a child, the dialog is believable, its not three words sentences, etc. you get what I mean. It's refreshing when there's competent writing and when people talk like humans and not blow-up dolls.There's a lot of "show don't tell" or at least some implied stuff. You're not spoonfed every explanation, you gotta read between the lines sometimes to get the full picture.

The world building and story so far are very interesting to me. The LIs are gorgeous especially in the newest chapter. I like all of them, but bunny, bell, and strea really standout for me. Its not perfect I had a few moments where I feel it jumped really quickly to the next scene, where it could have used another sentence or a transition to smooth it out. When we do eventually go on the water as a crew please dont leave bunny and bell behind! Lol now that I say that..bring them all. Teleporting girls and emesina(spelling?) The scene with the three of them was really well done with the build up of not seeing what was happening. Would have loved an animation after you get to see what's happening and let it go for a little longer. Keep it up dev you can see huge improvements already.

Final Verdict:

I've got to say it took me a little while to warm up to this story, but once I got past the beginning, I was drawn in by the interesting character development, attractive and creative use of models, and the quality of the storytelling as it unfolds with unexpected plot developments that nonetheless flow from earlier events, and open up new possibilities for our hero and his teammates.
