In Alchemist Mina, players are immersed in a fantastical world where plants have undergone massive mutations. Taking on the role of Mina, a novice chaos alchemist, she embarks on a wondrous adventure. Players will search for and interact with local inhabitants to find suitable materials and recipes for alchemy, creating various special potions to help others or themselves. Due to her profession, the potions she creates will undergo various bizarre mutations, triggering exciting and in-depth interactions and animated scenes upon consumption. The game is continuously being updated, with more new maps, materials, and alchemy recipes to be released. Players can look forward to it!
At the center of Alchemist Mina is its namesake protagonist—a bored, broke, and curious novice alchemist trapped in the slow-moving village of Brindlebrook. Her monotony sets the stage for a catastrophic but thrilling adventure. One forbidden experiment later, Mina awakens a dormant forest spirit whose wild magic begins reshaping the entire valley. This catalyst introduces the player to a world where nothing remains static, and every action—especially involving alchemy—ripples through the ecosystem.
The core gameplay mechanic in Alchemist Mina is the Chaos Crafting System. This system goes far beyond standard alchemy mini-games found in other fantasy RPGs. Ingredients have volatile properties and interact with the environment in sometimes beneficial, sometimes disastrous ways.
For instance, crafting a frost tonic might freeze a river, offering a clever shortcut through the region. But overuse could draw the ire of water nymphs, resulting in flooded paths or hostile elemental encounters. Failures in crafting aren't just setbacks—they're stories in themselves. One moment, a misfired potion might create a sentient slime that decides to follow you; another time, you may accidentally trap yourself in a localized time loop, only escaping by feeding a paradox-honey elixir to a moonflower.

Dynamic Crafting System: Players can experiment with a wide range of ingredients to discover new potions and effects, promoting creative thinking.
Engaging Storyline: The narrative gradually unfolds through interactions with friends and quests, adding depth and purpose to each task.
Unique Creatures and Characters: The world is filled with whimsical beings that add charm and variety, making exploration enjoyable and rewarding.
Spirit’s Whim: The awakened forest spirit evolves based on your choices, morphing from playful trickster to vengeful deity. Appease it with offerings, or defy it and risk calamities.
Ecosystem Alchemy: Mina’s potions permanently alter regions—pollinate dead fields into jungles, or acidify lakes to mine rare ores. Balance progress with unintended consequences.
Improvised Economy: Barter potions for odd payments—a love-struck blacksmith trades tools for truth serums, while a smuggler demands invisibility brews. No two playthroughs value the same elixirs.

The entire UI has been completely overhauled! The game now plays a lot more like a traditional VN, with a main window screen, a text box and controls to either side. Clicking on the image will expand the image to fill the window.
As part of this overhaul the normal twine sidebar has been removed. Everything is now in what was the inventory sidebar.
Gathering locations have been changed drastically. You now no longer randomly search a location, you can go looking specifically for what you want. There are also now options to gather multiple times at once, and it will give you a rough idea of how much stuff you’ll gather by doing so.
The Journal has also been dramatically overhauled. It should now be much more intuitive, and you can even use it to solve recipes without experimenting at the cauldron. Of course, you can also still discover recipes the old way.
A lot of encounters will now give little hints on how to find a followup scene.
Events and event notifications have been drastically improved in the back-end.
Library research is currently in a very, very simplified and not final state. Ideally I would like to come up with some kind of mini-game or something to spruce this up a bit, but that will have to wait for a future update.
A few images have been redone from the vine and slime scenes.

First time playing was 0.15.2 demo version on Android. The game plays really smoothly, has some great content and I think the UI works great for mobile devices (pixel 9a for context).Tried to play the 0.14.5 version afterwards to get the rest off the content, but I couldn't get over the UI drop. Overall a really fantastic game that needs to keep on being developed. Would love to see some animations as ai can do that for you now too.
The game is awesome, the scenes are so well written that they make you feel totally immersed in them, also, the A.I arts are great but i wish that in the next version the scenes have more arts or gif too, i love the kinks the game work on(beast is my weak)I recommend you to download the game and run on your device(mobile or pc) to avoid some shotdown and lagging issues in the web version.
This game uses AI generated images and I'm actually pretty okay with that. Usually games that do are pretty terrible, but I think one uses it pretty well. Ethics of using AI art aside, the quality of these images are pretty nice. The author has a consistent style and only a few minor mistakes here and there, but they're not distracting. As far as the gameplay goes it's not too bad. You go out to find materials to make potions to sell. Getting these materials can be a little grindy, but it's not offensive. My only complaint is that there really isn't a whole lot of content at the moment (v0.10). Looking forward to see what else will come from this.
