Escaping the Goblins

In Escaping the Goblins, players are placed in Sylvara, an elf city overrun by goblins. Controlling three alluring elves, players must manage their daily activities and tasks to save the city while avoiding suspicion from other goblins. Players will accept and complete various quests, train other elves, and use their charm and even their bodies to gather intelligence and gain the goblins' trust. While unlocking exciting animations, players must maintain their initial resolve to save the city and avoid succumbing to temptation. Whether they ultimately succeed in saving the city or are tamed by the goblins is entirely up to the player's choices.

Features of Escaping the Goblins:

Dual-Life Gameplay: By day, maintain cover through assigned tasks like foraging or crafting; by night, train in combat, steal vital resources, or unlock hidden story paths through risky exploration.

Dynamic Suspicion System: NPCs and patrols react to unusual behavior—lingering too long in restricted areas or failing chores raises alert levels, triggering interrogations or confinement.

Procedural Events: Each playthrough introduces randomized encounters—a sympathetic trader offering clues, or a goblin guard testing loyalties—ensuring no two strategies feel identical.

Corruption Resistance Stat: Manage a hidden meter tracking each character’s vulnerability; high exposure weakens willpower, unlocking seductive shortcuts but risking story consequences.

Environmental Hazards: Certain districts—like the perfumed market or tainted gardens—accelerate pheromone buildup, demanding careful route planning or protective item crafting.

Forbidden Encounter Triggers: Succumbing to pheromones or goblin persuasion reveals exclusive scenes—some offering tactical advantages (e.g., stolen keys), others permanently altering character motivations.

"AI Slop" — but the scenes and images are super hot.The game itself is pretty simple and is quickly explained in the introduction. It's not a bad system IMO. And most importantly, no grinding required.My only real issue is that the game crashed on me a few times. Seemed to happen when I opened the menu to save or load, especially during the library scenes. Not a huge deal though, and it stopped happening after I slowed myself down a bit.Super excited to see some more from this project. (y) (y)

I've grown to really like this one. I'm 50/50 on Ai art. Rarely to i find it worth it, but there is obvious care put into its use here. I like the characters and the story that is unfolding. The game play element is what needs to be worked on, but I ran through some dev blog posts and its obvious that the dev is trying to find ways to tie minigames together and whatever. Keeping my eye on this one. Girls are hot. Vayla is my favorite.

A labour of love with apparently 100s of workhours; given that all images and videos are ai generated (including voiceover), which is not easy at the level that it is done here.As of version 0.7 it is also starting to resemble an actual game. I would normally only give three stars for the crappy Ren'Py, but for the efforts the author puts into this and the progress the game makes, I give it five.

As per the 0.6 version it is kind of game that looks like just another crappy AI CG production out there at first glance, but in reality is quite decent. Yes, it has some flaws with UI, CG sometimes are a bit sloppy, but overall feeling is really nice, if devs will keep us the story content along with meat in good proportions (and fix some AI slops out there) that might be production worth noting in future.Considering it a bit better than 4 stars, not that close to 5, but will go up a bit for smaller devs as always.

Conclusion:

Best H game I've played this year. Fell in love with the AI art that is stunning.The gameplay is easy to understand, the story is basic but fun. Can't wait to have more content added. And thank the universe I found the gallery after finishing the main story ! Would have missed a lot of things otherwise!
