In this game, we follow Will and Cindy, a couple of friends who find themselves plunged into a magical world. Any resemblance to the world of Harry Potter is purely coincidental, I’m sure. Once there, they’ll learn two things: magic is really handy, and every witch is very horny, for some reason.

The game plays like your average visual novel: pick the right dialogue options, rizz up your favorite character, watch said character get it on, and repeat ad infinitum (or until you get bored.) Other than that, don’t expect too much in the way of gameplay. Not that you’re here for that, mind you.

Refined Tastes

One thing I wasn’t prepared at all for with this game is the sheer amount of kinks the developer crammed into the story. That said, it’s clear they went haywire with NTR as the main kink. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s something you should know. I mean, it would be like going into Corruption of Champions without being a furry.

The developer mentions in every changelog they intend to include as many kinks as possible as side quests in the game. With its magical setting, I’m sure you can do lots of wild stuff in a future version of College of Mysteria, but as it is now, you better enjoy some NTR.

Amazing Visuals (For Some)

Let’s address the huge, AI-generate elephant in the room. The developer used AI tools to create all of the game’s visuals. Fortunately, they look great: most characters are anatomically correct in every scene, and they even keep the same hairstyle and faces throughout the game. If you’ve ever used AI image generators before, you know how difficult that can be.

I know there’s a huge discourse online regarding the use of AI to create video games, and honestly, for this game, it works. Sure, having a competent artist draw every scene in the game might be better in the long run, but I’ve also seen some pretty ugly renders out there made by so-called “real artists” that would’ve improved considerably had they used AI tools. It’s a bit of a touchy subject, for sure, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me, at least.
