Maleena's Corruption is a casual management game where players are placed in a world where the gods have fallen, becoming a hybrid orc who has taken in other humans. Players will face a world where many of their family members who raised them are in crisis. Players must manage shops to earn money to help their loved ones through these difficult times. Players must serve meals to customers within a limited time to earn tips. During this time, players may encounter caring customers, but they will also face many unscrupulous customers trying to take advantage of them. Your choices—whether to tolerate or erupt—will affect the subsequent plot development and the degree of corruption. As the game progresses and the player's corruption level increases, various exciting animations will be triggered.

Gameplay of Maleena's Corruption:

The core gameplay loop in Fissure Divers: Maleena’s Corruption involves alternating between exploration segments in the base and the depths, and dialogue-driven encounters. Exploration is point-and-click, uncovering story-critical items and environmental storytelling. The combat flow is non-existent in a traditional sense; instead, the “combat” is psychological, fought through dialogue choices that can strengthen or sever ties with other characters. Strategic elements involve managing Maleena’s state—choosing when to resist the corruption’s urges and when to give in, as each decision permanently alters the available narrative path. Survival mechanics are replaced by a “sanity” or “humanity” system, where pushing too far into corruption might grant power but permanently lock you out of certain story conclusions.

Story of Maleena's Corruption:

Set in a world where the Gods have perished. Where Humanity worships a Goddess that hasn't shown herself for centuries and filling in her place are Her Chosen Ones. Humanity's Greatest Weapons: Men and women gifted with the Blessings of the Mother. Unique sets of skills that give their users God-like abilities, unexplainable to the majority of the population. To the commoners of the Queendom, they are The Mother's envoys and representatives. And they all must serve the Queen and her Empire.

In Fissure Divers: Maleena's Corruption, you will live through the daily struggles of a mixed-race girl, Maleena. Part Beastal (An intelligent race of beast-like beings), Part Human; She's been ostracized, discriminated and mistreated all her life. But her real struggles are only about to being. With her foster-father imprisoned, her foster-mother missing, and her foster-brother bedridden due to an unclassified condition— All hopes now rest on Maleena's shoulders to see this predicament through.

But the Fissure on which the city is built upon appears to be the root of something far more sinister. Will Maleena endure through these hardships without losing herself in the process? Will she find her place in the world before it caves in? Or will she embrace the sweet nectar of Corruption deep in the Fissure?

Born of both Human and intelligent Beastal blood, she embodies a conflict that has defined her life, facing relentless ostracization and mistreatment from a world that sees her as an outsider. 

Her fragile stability is utterly destroyed when her foster-father is imprisoned, her foster-mother vanishes, and her only sibling is struck by a mysterious, bed-ridden condition, leaving her completely alone. 

The narrative forces players to shoulder Maleena's burdens, making every decision from a place of vulnerability, societal pressure, and the urgent need to save what remains of her family.

The "corruption" she faces mirrors invasive, transformative evils found in other dark fantasies, presenting itself as a creeping threat that can alter both the environment and the soul. 

To survive and gather resources for her family, Maleena may need to engage with dubious factions, perform unsavory tasks, or explore forbidden powers, each choice risking her own sense of self.
