Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a popular first-person shooter where players lead their squad through various campaign missions. Choose from three officers based on mission requirements, and strategically use different weapons to accurately aim and predict enemy movements to eliminate them and win the mission. The game offers both single-player campaign and multiplayer competitive modes, allowing you to team up with friends, compete against players worldwide, and claim victory and rich rewards. The game will be regularly updated with more campaign missions and gameplay features, so stay tuned!
Campaign: Modern Warfare's single-player campaign focuses on realism and features tactically based moral choices whereupon the player is evaluated and assigned a score at the end of each level. On some occasions, players have to quickly ascertain whether NPCs are a threat or not, such as a civilian woman who is believed to be reaching for a gun, but then simply grabs her baby from a crib. This collateral damage score, referred to as a threat assessment, is based on how many civilians the player injures or kills and ranges from rank A to F. Rewards are introduced to those who score higher.Character dialogue differs depending upon the choices the player makes in the game. Tactical decisions are included, such as the player using a sniper rifle in a large environment to approach objectives in a non-linear order, and choosing to shoot out lights in favor of using night-vision goggles during breaching and clearing.
Multiplayer: Modern Warfare's multiplayer has been revised from its predecessors to allow for a more tactical gameplay style, including a focus on map exploration, door breaching, and a Hardcore "Realism" mode that removes the HUD. The mini-map was originally removed in favor of a compass-style marker, with visual cues to detect friendlies and opponents. Following feedback from the multiplayer beta test, Infinity Ward re-implemented the mini-map but removed the appearance of red dots representing enemy players, except for when the UAV killstreak is used.Multiplayer features the return of Killstreaks (rewards based on kills), with more recent Call of Duty titles having used Scorestreaks (rewards based on score) instead. Killstreaks can be converted into Scorestreaks with the use of an in-game perk called "Pointman". The online modes allow for a larger range of players within a map than previous installments, with a new mode called "Ground War" featuring over 100 players. Another new mode, "Gunfight", pits two teams of two players against each other, in small-scale matches lasting forty seconds per round.
Special Ops: Modern Warfare is the first game in the series since 2013's Call of Duty: Ghosts not to feature a Zombies mode, instead featuring the cooperative "Special Ops" mode previously present in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Spec Ops shares its narrative with both the campaign and multiplayer. It includes a "Survival" mode, which was a timed exclusive to the PlayStation 4 release until October 2020. At launch, Special Ops features four Operations, which are multi-objective missions that take place in a large open map requiring mandatory 4-player cooperation; and Classic Special Ops, which features smaller scale missions, similar to the original Spec Ops mode.

Try Every Gun And Find The Ones You Like: Like most Call of Duty games, Modern Warfare includes a whole lot of guns. You'll encounter most of them during the course of the campaign and the cooperative Spec Ops mode, each time with various attachments equipped, and that gives you a chance to try them out before you get into competitive matches. As you rank up in PvP matches, you'll eventually unlock more guns, and it can be tempting to power through with the first gun you land on, but try to spend some time experimenting with everything you unlock to see what works best for you. Being flexible with weapons, and knowing a little about how every gun feels, will allow you to pick up other guns on the battlefield when you're in a pinch. It'll also help you to know how to customize your loadout to respond to the opposing team's approach and prepare for what your team needs.
Let The Campaign Teach You Tactics: Modern Warfare features a campaign that is often a little more intimate than past Call of Duty games. Some levels are smaller, with fewer enemies, and place an emphasis on careful movement and tactics, rather than on mowing down waves of bad guys. These missions are actually a great opportunity to learn a few skills you can take with you into multiplayer matches. Your campaign squadmates will encourage you to work together as a team to clear rooms and check corners, and that's a great strategy throughout multiplayer to help you avoid getting ambushed as you enter a new place. Use the campaign to learn how to deal with hidden enemies and unfamiliar locations to help keep you alive when you take on other players in multiplayer.
Use Launchers To Take Down Vehicles: In multiplayer, controlling your enemies' information can be extremely important. A lot of the killstreaks that may be used against you give your opponents an advantage by providing intel on your team's location. Personal radar helicopters and UAVs are easy to unlock and can turn the tide of a match, but you don't have to wait for them to expire--you can actively shoot them down for points. If you're not the kind of player who wants a backup weapon in their secondary slot, consider equipping a launcher instead. Several can lock on and track vehicles, allowing you to shoot down aircraft. Being proactive and knocking out UAVs as soon as they arrive on the scene can take away an opposing team's advantage and rob someone of a killstreak, all in one go. Plus, you get points for yourself when you shoot down UAVs. At the very least, you want to have someone on your team acting as the designated aircraft-destroyer to help you keep an even playing field with the enemy--or a slanted one, if they don't have anyone to shoot down your UAVs.
Invest In Your Favorite Guns: As you play Modern Warfare's multiplayer, you'll level up and unlock new guns. But you can also level up specific weapons by repeatedly using them, which gives you new attachments that can change how your guns work and help you adjust them to your specific playstyle. Those attachments can take a while to unlock, however, so you'll want to be selective with the guns that you put your time into. You should also invest some time into a variety of weapons to help you tune guns for different situations. The Gunsmith menu shows you everything you have unlocked and everything you can unlock for various weapons, and also gives you a sense of the strengths and weaknesses of each attachment and perk. Do some planning ahead to get the stuff you want on your favorite guns, so you don't waste time leveling up a weapon you'll ultimately abandon or doesn't feel right on the battlefield.

Awesome gameplay, good storyline and great visuals! Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) is a great entry point if you're new to this franchise. It has a good story campaign; cannot say about the multiplayer part because I'm not into that, but yeah, if you love FPS shooters and you're getting this game for the single player content, then you will enjoy the campaign mode. But there are 2 biggest drawbacks that this Call of Duty game has and even all the other Call of Duty games carries the same issue too which came after this one - i.e., as follows:-> First, you CANNOT play the campaign offline and without internet. So there's a lack of initiative from the Publsiher's side to preserve this game, atleast for now unless they decides to provide the offline patch!> Second, you CANNOT play on Linux due to their Ricochet Anti Cheat that has no role while playing the campaign! Also I don't support companies blocking Linux for silly reasons! So yeah, please keep those things in mind before buying any Call of Duty that launched after 2018, thank you!Oh, forgot to mention this - Call of Duty MW 2019 is greatly optimized and the game is able to utilize 99%-100% of the GPU properly!
(I have around 90h in my Battlenet account, where I originally purchased the game in 2019. I recently purchased it on Steam once it dropped to the 5.99€ price)The game is both fondly remembered, as well as shamed upon, by different fan groups of the CoD community. Personally, I'm on the first side. You see, Modern Warfare (2019) was a total revamp from what we had been having previously, and the new engine made sure that the game was shining. I still remember back when the first trailers dropped and the "Clean House" mission gameplay was shown - everyone and their mommas were in awe!Cue the release of the game, and right out of the box, 2 out of 3 modes were superb: firstly, the Spec Ops mode (which was made fun by the various amount of approaches you could take to it, with one mission never feeling the exact same), and the campaign (which, to be honest, could be a review of its own. If the game is once again at a low price and you're on the fence about buying it, the Campaign alone is an uncontested gem and an excellent ride through the different missions).Alas, the Multiplayer aspect was the one that showed its flaws - gunplay wise, I felt it was a great model and a refreshing approach to the game. Adding doors and multiple corners to check, however, highly increased the amount of camping and slowed to overall feel of the game, to the point were some matches were just not fun.Nevertheless, MW 2019 was a fantastic bulwark when it came out. and 7 years after, the fact it still holds up well graphically and in gameplay, should pretty much say everything about what you will find once you open it.
1. Someone at Activision probably accidentally set the discount to 90%.or2. Someone at Activision got tired of the 67% discount because of the dumb “6-7” meme. Now, I’m not sure, but I’m leaning toward the first theory, because judging by past experience, Activision doesn’t joke around when it comes to money. And someone probably got fired.Either way, it was worth grabbing the game for 5,99€. I’m not even sure I’ll touch multiplayer, but for singleplayer the price is great. Also, it's a CoD game = you just go forward and shoot. Simple.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has also gotten a revamped customization system, and that has made many fans of the series very happy. Throughout both the campaign and online matches, you can earn points by completing certain objectives. Those points can then be used in the customization area to make changes to your character’s appearance and some of their items. The weaponsmith area of the customization menu even allows you to upgrade your weapons in between matches. When you pick up a field pack in a match, your new kit will have your customized weapons and items.
