Les Fleursword
Introduction

Les Fleursword is a story-driven casual game where players take on the role of Adelaide, who embarks on a wondrous adventure after being cursed with a death spell by a sorcerer. Accompanying the knights of the Order of Knights, players experience various events and adventures, making different choices to build deep emotional bonds with them, triggering different storylines and unlocking corresponding intimate animations. The game features multiple endings, varying depending on the player's time and affinity with the diverse companions, adding to the game's engaging gameplay.

Characters of Les Fleursword:

Adelaide: Whenever I play games, I take notes on things I want to talk about or just random thoughts, and I have “this guy (Yuphio) is embarrassed and blushing and she’s like ‘he must be angry and his face is getting red.’ You dumb ho.” Adelaide is incredibly dense. I think a lot of this goes back to her identity. She doesn’t think men can like her since she doesn’t feel female/they view her as male. She’s not only dense about romance, she’s also dense about magic. She saw Marlowe perform magic (fireballs and stuff like that) and is still like “this must 100% be fake.” To make it worse, everyone is like this! She doesn’t believe this curse is real even when she feels physical pain from it, and the other guys don’t believe it either! HOW?!

Phil: The first guy I did (lol) was Phil. Phil is one of Adelaide’s knights. He goes on the mission with her that gets her cursed, so he’s in on everything that’s happening to her. It’s clear he has the hots for her the whole time, but again, she’s too dense/troubled to realize this. I never found Phil attractive. He’s nice, but that’s about it. My biggest complaint about him is his banging scene. He pretty much forces himself on her by shoving her down and restraining her with his hands without having any consent. She wasn’t that into Phil before this, and wasn’t that into him during it. She only realized she liked him once they were banging and she realized she didn’t hate it. Um, what??? You read that right. They were already banging once she realized she was okay with it. I didn’t see any consent here. She was okay with it after a bit, but like…he forced himself on her??? It doesn’t matter if she was okay with it later, she wasn’t okay with it when “the dark deed” was done, so that’s rape, right??? Also, she felt bad the whole time because of the curse, so she actually passed out after banging. Yep, totally the best time to bang.

Yuphio: Yuphio is the tsundere guy. He treats Adelaide like crap, but she treats him like crap too, so whatever. I liked him more than Phil since Phil felt like a lost puppy following her around while Yuphio was sassier. His banging scene wasn’t nearly as bad as they were kind of getting a bit touchy-feely beforehand, though he still shoved her down and forced himself on her. It just felt more consensual. I felt like she had more chemistry with Yuphio than Phil just because they bickered a lot XD.

Marlowe: Marlowe is the best character, and the hottest, and the clear OTP XD. He’s the one who cursed Adelaide, and while it seems like the game wouldn’t be able to think of a way for them to fall for each other, but it did a……kinda okay job. Adelaide feels they have similar goals, both being willing to sacrifice themselves for their people. And they never say they “love” each other when they bang, just that that “like” each other, so given Adelaide’s lack of a sense of self preservation, her liking him made enough sense XD. I don’t get why he liked her other than her being insanely nice to him when she shouldn’t have. Maybe that turned him on or something lol.

Features of Les Fleursword:

Always Second Best: Yuphia to Adelaide; they have similar ancestries of great knights, and a similar drive to do their best, but Adelaide always came out on top. It's left Yuphia rather resentful.

Bifauxnen: Adelaide Devondell, the protagonist.

"Blind Idiot" Translation: The English translation is fraught with errors.

Captured on Purpose: Marlowe intended to be apprehended after cursing a knight, so that the truth about what happened to the kingdom's wizards could come to light.

Childhood Friends: Adelaide and Yuphia knew each other as children, though the latter's resentment drove them apart.

Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Phil, who deflects Marlowe's magic and nearly kills the talented mage after Adelaide is hurt.

Evil Sorcerer: Marlowe, who is responsible for cursing Adelaide and attempting to fry Phil with a fireball when they are sent to investigate his illegal magic drugs.

Facial Markings: Marlowe has a tattoo on the right side of his face, which matches The Worsening Curse Mark he puts on Adelaide.

Heroic Self-Deprecation: Phil Alloli, Adelaide's subordinate, has little confidence in himself.

Keet: Phil is constantly praising Adelaide, and lets his emotions come before "logical thought".

Locked in a Room: In one story branch, Adelaide is relocated to the (refurbished) cell next to where Marlowe is being imprisoned, so the public won't see her in pain and panic; this is the branch that either leads to Marlowe's ending, or the Bad End (which still involves Marlowe curing Adelaide's curse after spending time bonding with her).

Love Redeems: If Marlowe is chosen as the Love Interest.

Multiple Endings: One for each of the three men Adelaide can romance, plus a Bad End (which ends well, but with No Romantic Resolution).

Player Comments of Les Fleursword:

Well, the first thing you notice when you start the game is the english. The english used for this game is worse than basic but if you can manage to ignore it and read it the way it should be written, you will enjoy it.Not even 2 minutes in the game you have already 2 achievements and a cg. The achievements are not in english, so you don't really know how to get them unless you are able to understand the language in which they are written (I guess?).The cg's are pretty good, I like the style and the colours.I have to admit that at first, I had no idea what the MC was, boy or a girl. Sometimes they refer to the MC as a male but then the MC refers to itself as a girl so I am pretty confused not only by that but his/her looks too.

This is... well, this is an interesting game. It seems to be a port of a Japanese game... through a Chinese translation to English... The latter translation being... a bit splotchy. The game also seems to make use of RPGMaker assets, though not in a way that allows you to do anything. The story itself is... interesting. Young female knight, cursed by a magician. In order to reverse the curse, a certain flower must be found. One of three men shall find it, depending on your choices. One of which being the magician who cursed you in the first place. Outside of one neutral ending, the person appointed by your decisions will return with the healing draught, heal the girl... and then cement their love for the girl by joining with her. There is a patch which adds a little detail to those scenes, but... not what some of you are hoping for...While I think the game decent enough to recommend (barely), it seems a bit of a drop in quality from their first game, Super Star...

So I know quite a few people gave this game bad reviews and honestly people are entitled to their own opinions. However, there are a few things you should know before purchasing this game. FIRST, I can understand why this game was NOT under the otome section. Even if at first glance it does look like it being one girl and several men, I must conclude otherwise. This game literally feels like an RPG more than anything. And that's because it is. You can't save when you want to just like an RPG. You can tell with the content and role play scenes it's set up like a classical RPG. Plus the music stands out very well giving it a classical sense of gameplay. SECOND, the ONLY con if the translation bothers you that much is the english reworded. I found myself laughing at the characters sometimes because I could still understand the english despite what I read about the game reviews before purchase. I couldn't resist lol the price tag. And sadly, I thought this game would be a whole lot worse. I actually like it! You're getting a underrated game for barely any money; what do you got to lose?
