A Debt Paid is a casual game driven by story and player choices. Players take on the role of an MC who takes their girlfriend on an island vacation. You'll encounter various characters and story events, making choices that shape your and your girlfriend's fate and the subsequent plot development. Will you be submissive and watch your girlfriend be taken by a futa (a Japanese term for a womanizer), or will you change your personality to protect her and successfully avoid NTR (Netorare, a Japanese term for infidelity)? It's all up to the player's choices. Of course, various exciting and explosive animations are also included. Patch v0.31 was focusing on smoother gameplay and accessibility to be able to more easily reach scenes that required a lot of grind, fixing bugs, loopholes, giving a better explanation on systems the game using and what do they mean.

Additions:

Journal expanded with better explanation on relationship points and levels

Doubled relationship point gains for all characters

Added an option to lie during tax paying so players don’t have to spend all their money to trigger the bad ending

Added a “Skip Saturday” button for the weekends to make scenes that only happen during Sunday more easily accessible

Qi x GF in the nightclub is now animated

Removed the chinese language stat altogether and it’s requirement to trigger Qi x GF in nightclub

All NSFW scenes are now added to the gallery which can be unlocked at home from your laptop for $$$, expanded them with a better and much more straightforward explanation on how to unlock them as well

Fixed bugs, loopholes, etc.

I hope these changes help players unlock scenes they could not in the previous patch.

I don't think the game deserves a four as of yet, but I think the sheer potential and obvious dedication to this project will bump it up for me for the sake of this review.Characters are great. Each one is clearly defined and, more or less, intriguing. Lucy, a blunt and lovable wrecking ball, is a hoot and always interesting. Armina (If I'm remembering the name right) leans into the usual big black cock kind of stereotypes but has some amusing side stories with potential cuck pimping lmao. And if those two aren't interesting you, there's always Catherine, who leans into femdom and futocracy kind of vibes. Basically, there's a flavor of character here for everyone, assuming you're into the NTR genre, which you obviously are if you're playing this game.Just looking at the art shows a clear dedication to the project. There may not be a lot of steamy scenes, as of yet, but they are undeniably well-made. Many projects in this type of genre end up feeling obligatory, uninspired, and dull. That's not the case here, but there is a completely different sort of problem.At the time of review, there is a lack of content, and what is here does not exactly mesh well with itself. When leaving linear narratives, there is often a dilemma of pacing. What happens if a player gets a fairly advanced and erotic scene with one character but is a prude with another? It makes things feel inconsistent. If you can ignore that and take the scenes in a vacuum, then it's fine, but still, I'd prefer a little continuity.An additional problem I have with the game is the difficulty and awkwardness of pursuing paths with certain characters. I shouldn't have to pull up a google doc to see how I'm supposed to play a game. Still, a relatively minor issue for a game early in development.Despite those complaints, I intend to check future updates and potentially support the project if the future content is put out in a timely fashion and at the same bar of quality.

Honestly, I didn't expect anything interesting. But after completing the first chapter, I was satisfied. Interesting characters and a relationship system. A sufficient number of locations and events. I think I will support the author on Patreon from next month. Good game, I don't know why the rating is so low when AI crap earns 4 points, and a good game earns less.
