Where’s My Water? is a highly entertaining puzzle game that offers players levels of varying difficulty. Players must dig tunnels to guide water towards three little ducks, filling them all up and finally channeling the water into the bathtub to help the clean-loving Swampy take a bath. Earning a three-star rating unlocks more levels and new gameplay. A variety of items are available for players to use; strategically utilizing these items will help you successfully complete the three-duck challenge. The game features a rich storyline, allowing players to experience the love-hate relationship between Swampy and other little crocodiles, creating a highly immersive experience.

Gameplay of Where's My Water?:

Swampy, an alligator living in a city sewer system, hates being dirty, but whenever he tries to take a bath, Cranky the alligator living in the sewers, disrupts the water flow to Swampy's home. Located somewhere on the level is a supply of water, either a finite amount pooled at various locations or an infinite amount flowing from a pipe.[8] Players use the touch screen on their device to dig through the dirt and redirect the water towards an inlet leading to Swampy's bathtub. Occasionally, the water must be routed through other pipes or must interact with machines in order to open up a route to the inlet.When the required amount of water reaches the bathtub, the level is completed and the next level is unlocked. If all of the water flows away or turned into poison or mud, the player loses the level. Also scattered around the level are three rubber ducks that can be collected when they absorb an amount of water.[8] Select levels also include items hidden in the dirt that will unlock bonus levels when three-item collections are completed.

Certain levels are also populated by hazards that must be avoided or removed. For example, some levels contain algae that will absorb water and grow. Other types of fluids will sometimes appear, such as purple poison, reddish mud, and green ooze. A single drop of poison will contaminate pure water, turning it into poison as well, while the ooze will erode through the dirt, pop balloons, and react with water, destroying both fluids. Mud eventually hardens into dirt, unless water reaches it, in which case the water turns to mud instantly. If either poison, ooze or mud reaches the inlet, the level will be lost and will automatically restart. In addition, bombs will destroy all of the objects and kill all of the rubber ducks on contact, while regular water kills Cranky Ducks, and poison kills the rest of the Ducks. However, poison and ooze will also destroy the invasive algae on contact. The poison will remove it, while the ooze will cause it to solidify, creating a rock—and they will react with each other explosively if they touch each other, potentially opening up parts of the level to the benefit or detriment of the player.

Points are awarded for the amount of time taken to complete the level, for collecting rubber ducks, and for delivering more than the minimum amount of water to Swampy's tub. Collecting a certain number of rubber ducks will also unlock new groups of levels.

Best $1.99 I've ever spent. Where's My Water simply does not do advertisements or P2W; the only monetization comes from buying the game itself, 4 DLC level packs, and the ability to buy levels that you can't get enough ducks for (the difficulty can be challenging at times but it never got to the point where I had to resort to this). The UI from 2011 looks a bit dated in 2026, but it delivers a top-tier UX, even including convenience features that many modern games lack.

Very fun and entertaining. But I'm the most glad for them not changing anything, for example not making you wait/pay for things, or even, god forbid, wait/pay to play the game like I've seen in recent years. They didn't even put in any ads like they did in the sequel. Overall a very good strategy-based game that has had the luck of staying the exact same for years.

All I have to say is, it is a good game. Sure the levels are challenging at times but that's what games are like. Sometimes I get mad but just skip from the pause menu on any level. But if you want a real challenge, just try to tri-duck each level. (Collect all ducks) I STRONGLY Recommend this game for puzzle solvers. I completed all The Stories!

One of my favourite games for sure. for all the people complaining you have to keep paying to unlock all the levels, they are wrong and don't understand how it works. you have to finish level 1 before level 2 unlocks etc. all the levels are there to play in order with a single purchase. if you want to cheat and jump ahead, then you have to pay. just like all other games you buy for nintendo or sony, you have to play the game from level 1. not sure why people think this is any different.

Walkthrough of Where's My Water?:

Your objective in Where’s My Water? is to get Swampy’s water back so he can take a shower along with various other activities. Swampy lives in the sewer below the city streets, so broken pipes, dirt and other obstacles can block his access to water.

In the first level, you will have a broken pipe and lots of dirt in the way of the water. This level, however, is quite easy and only requires that you swipe right down the middle (drag your finger along the three rubber ducks) to win. The water will immediately begin flowing and once it reaches Swampy, you have completed the level and can move on to the next.

At the end of each level, you will be given which shows a silhouette of Swampy doing the activity he was trying to do with the water, as well as the results of how well you did in the level. You’ll get a time bonus based on how quickly you finished the level, a duck bonus for making the water travel through one or more of the ducks, and an overflow bonus based on how much extra water reached Swampy.

Once you’ve gone over your results in the level, you can either Replay the level to try to earn some extra points, move on to the next, or go back to the level list to play any past levels.

An important note for each level you will play is that the water reacts just like it does in real life. If you create a ‘bowl’ of sorts when creating your route to Swampy, that water will not travel any further unless it overflows. Planning accordingly is recommended.

Note: If the level is longer than the screen, then a blue scroll bar will appear to the left side, allowing you to scroll up and down across the entire level in order to eliminate the dirt you would like to.

One of the first levels that requires you to really think out your strategy when it comes to ducks and water flow is Level 1-3. Below is a good solution you can try that should get the water flowing to Swampy while still managing to collect the ducks.

est solution to this level is to create a water path that goes through the left-most tunnel. Now, when creating this tunnel, make sure you run your finger along the left side of the shaft, so that only a trickle of water goes to the right side.

As you can see in the screenshots, this will send enough water to both sides of the tunnel so that the water can reach the ducks and Swampy. Remember, you have to be extra careful so that you don’t send too much water one way or another.

Final words:

This game allows players to admire a unique cast of characters, with many amazing colors combined with different names. Besides, the interface screen is also built very beautifully, creating a highlight for this game. It catches the player’s attention and causes a gentle attraction. Moreover, the fun background music made the game much more fun and interesting.
