In Life on Mars, players are placed in a future world after humanity has colonized Mars. You will become the prime minister's assistant, helping him achieve his campaign goal of abolishing polygamy. The game features multiple storylines for players to unlock. Depending on the player's choices in different events, they will build a harem, remain devoted to one person, or indulge in other strange desires—all depending on the player's choices. Players will encounter charming ladies with diverse personalities, sparking passionate relationships with them in various story events, leading to deeper interactions and unlocking various sensual animations.

Story of Life on Mars:

At the end of the 24th century, humans succeeded in terraforming Venus and Mars. But just a few decades later, a war broke out when the colonists wanted to gain independence. The War ended in the middle of the 25th century with a peace treaty to end the Solar Federation as well as the sovereignty of Earth. The story begins at the start of the 26th century on Earth. It’s also the 1st century of the new calendar on Mars. The Martians are trying to distinguish themselves from Earth. Our main protagonist is a senator’s assistant. His boss is running for Chancellor this year. One of her promises is to end the legal status of polygamy. But what about the main protagonist? Is he also against polygamy? His decisions will shape the story of Life on Mars.

Depending on your choices, the game will lead you to one of these routes:

Gentleman: The MC is a gentleman.

Domination: The MC is rough and dominant, but the women still love him.

Sharing: The MC shares the women with other men.

Beta Male: The MC will become a cuck.

Player Comments of Life on Mars:

It’s a relatively short VN experience without music or SFX, aside from some moaning in the later h-scenes. The story itself is nothing spectacular. I eventually came to terms with the story, but overall it lacks the length and depth needed to fully explore its time-travel and parallel-universe setting. The writing seems better than what I assumed based on older reviews. It’s understandable enough, even if it’s obviously no Shakespeare.For me, the most complete route was the gentleman/domination route. The NTR/cuckold route lacks character development and feels soulless, while the sharing route has not enough content.I did like the LI models, they look attractive and have fairly natural proportions, but that’s about the most positive thing I can say about the renders.The animations are stiff, and most of them feel very similar to each other.I’m giving it 3 stars, mainly because there are no major narrative structure issues and because the title has the tag completed.

The society he currently lives in is supposed to be polyandry and polygamy. Fine. That means he was raised in a society that accepts sharing partners as normal.So, where does the NTR come in? It's one thing if he chooses to attach himself to a political party that wants to change that--he buys into the exclusivity ideology attached to some kind of religious revival, but the notion of cucks and jealousy would not be normal in this society. The anti-polygamists would be considered fringe--at least at the beginning of the movement. But, attaching himself to such a party would have consequences, since most of the people around him would find that abnormal and annoying.So, the whole idea of men stealing his women or being tricked, drugged or manipulated into it would not be a relevant issue. Jasmine would not need to be drugged or tricked into sleeping with someone else. She would simply act on it consistent with her desires. So, I have no idea why those interaction were even introduced.In actuality, it's simply a game with today's social mores grafted onto a narrative set in the future. That was a huge disconnect for me. As a consequence, I rate this a 2.5 for a pointlessly flawed premise, but round up to a 3 because of the quality of the images.
