Close all Doors behind you (unless told not to), as Granny takes around 1.5 seconds to open one.

When Granny is far away from you, try not to alert her, so you would have more free time:

Drop items in locations that don't allow items to create noise (on Beds, Backyard's grass etc.)

Don't step on Creaking Floors, and avoid any other hazards.

Keep weapons in safe and easily accessible locations, like in a tunnel, so you can knock Granny out easier.

Stay away from the Basement, Bedroom 2, Living Room, or Secret Area Middle Floor at the start of the day or when Granny is about to respawn after getting knocked out.
