In Chronicles of Corrupted Knights, players are placed in a world protected by the gods. However, as the goddess Lilia's corrupting desires are endlessly spread throughout the world, players will delve into the heart of the incubation realm to awaken Lilia. Players will use various combat skills and magical equipment to fight against diverse enemies within the realm, but be aware that as players use equipment for longer periods, it will permanently alter their body and mind. As players defeat various enemies within the realm, you can unlock exciting and intimate animations, making them completely subservient to you. Ultimately, can you save the world?

Chronicles of Corrupted Knights (CoCK) is a transformation-focused roguelite rpg. Explore a world that changes you, and changes the scenes, text, and images to match. Sort of like if Corruption of Champions had more graphics, or if you merged FTL/Slay the Spire with Final Fantasy and made it all really lewd.

There was an issue where the game started stupid-big on some monitors. That should be fixed now - starts maximized, drops to 720p when un-maximized, resizable by dragging mouse. (crossed fingers)

Player Comments of Chronicles of Corrupted Knights:

Pretty good game. There are a few bugs.For example, if you max your stats after 19 (19 is a limit, and this limit doesn't work), it still increases the health/mana/stamina bars, but 19 remains unchanged. There are also only 2 items for each item type (which is a small amount). Thirdly, stats didn't increase the damage (which is very bad), and a map (boss fight) is unfinished/absent. Fourthly, TFs don't influence stats.However, despite all the problems, the UI is good, the realization is good, and the text is good. Definitely waiting for updates.

This is a good start to a game. The game runs well, though there are still some minor hiccups related to the usability of the interface and the way the battle system is structured. With some tweaking, it has a lot of promise. The dev also seems responsive. I will update the review once the dev has a chance to do more with their framework.

I agree with the review below, the game has some very strong fundamentals and a lot of potential. The art is AI but there is a lot of it and it is generally consistent in style, which is the important part. I found no real issues with it. Writing is generally solid, could use some refinement here and there but that's something for future versions. Same with bugs, the only ones I found were minor and I expect they will get patched soon.Right now I have two main concerns. First is the lack of content variety, which is a given for such an early release so will obviously be addressed. The other is more subjective but I feel like I should mention it, which is the general lack of, shall we say, "potency" that all of the transformations in the game. There are several items that will transform you, but all seem to do it incredibly slowly. I did my first run as a male character trying to go for a TG route and ran the whole map twice while barely becoming androgynous. My next run I did a female character, trying to corrupt her into a lewd and curvy version of herself. That run I deliberately played poorly, consuming all the feminizing transformative items I could find and wearing the feminizing outfit, surrendering all encounters to take the corruption penalty, and spending many many days in the corruption "storm". My character's body barely changed.It may be the author's intention to focus more on the mental aspects of corruption and not as much on the physical, but the game compares itself to Corruption of Champions directly in the description, and has a very CoC-inspired character status page that goes into detail about all our body parts. The Fenoxo games are ones where transformative items can hugely change a character's body on a single use, and it is relatively easy to reach hyper proportions if deliberately misusing transformatives. I went into this game expecting a similar level of transformative potential based on the description and was disappointed. I hope this is adjusted in later versions, or the description clarified about what kind of transformations we can expect.

Final Verdict:

I think this is a really strong start for a game. I'm looking forward to seeing where the author takes it! I think the other critiques are evidence of that. We haven't seen a new consumption based TF game like this in a while and people are gonna pour their hopes into it.
