Line Rider is a highly entertaining action-adventure game that offers players levels of varying difficulty. Players must draw strategic sliding routes to help their character successfully reach the finish line. The game features a timeline function, allowing players to easily view how their drawn lines affect the character's gliding progress, indicating success or failure, enabling further adjustments to the route. Players can also import audio files to listen to their favorite music during gameplay, enhancing the overall enjoyment.
The basic concept is to draw one or more lines with the mouse on which a boy (referred to as "Bosh" by the creator) on a sled can ride after the player presses the "Play" button. The game includes simulated physics, which means the track must be sufficiently smooth to prevent the character from falling off the sled. The author has said that he prefers the description "toy" to "game", as there is no goal to accomplish, nor does it have an end. In spite of its simplicity, many complicated tracks have been created, which include loops and other stunts. New tracks can consist of unrealistic tricks such as "flings" and "manuals" both on and off the sled. Many tracks created by the community have been set to music, such as the video This Will Destroy You, timed completely to the entire self-titled This Will Destroy You album. Others use background art to fill their tracks with hand-drawn mountain slopes and trees. Tracks are typically shared among users by uploading a video to websites, such as YouTube or Google Video. Revision 6.2 of Line Rider was released in August 2007, and was optimized to run more smoothly, and to have a higher-powered zoom tool. The game does allow created tracks to be saved, and shown to the public (only if creator wishes to do so). The storage is not on the Line Rider website, but on the user's hard drive, therefore allowing maximum storage implication and quicker access to stored tracks. In order to allow public viewing, the user must be logged into the website server.

Multiple Riders: Feel like a crowd’s more fun? Add more sledders to the mix and see how each one handles your course. Sometimes it’s a smooth ride… sometimes it’s pure mayhem!
Custom Soundtracks: Want your masterpiece to have a soundtrack? Import your own audio to make each ride even more entertaining (or dramatic, if you’re into that).
Timeline Scrubbing: Hop to any point in your track’s timeline—speed back and forth to spot where your ride could use a tweak or just watch that epic crash again.
Live Edits with Physics: Freeze the action at any spot, and keep adjusting your lines. The live physics let you see instant results, making trial and error actually fun.
Draw and Ride: Create your own tracks by sketching lines, curves, loops—whatever you’re feeling. Then kick back to watch your sledder ride them, whether it’s a simple ramp or a rollercoaster of chaos.

Start “smooth first.” A working track is easier to improve than a messy stunt track.
Keep lines connected cleanly, tiny gaps can make the rider snag and stop.
Round sharp corners, smooth curves often ride better than pointy angles.
Use longer lines for main paths, lots of tiny pieces can create bumpy motion.
Test in short bursts, do not build a huge track without checking each section.
After a fast part, add a calmer stretch so the rider can settle down.
If a jump fails, adjust the takeoff first, then fix the landing second.
Widen landings and tilt them gently upward for safer, cleaner touches.
Build one highlight moment per track instead of ten confusing ones.
Change one thing at a time so you know what actually improved the ride.

Just like I remember but better than ever! Worth the price, good bit of fun. I hope these guys keep the app updated so it doesn't automatically get delisted whenever Google updates their security stuff.
This game is so good and the gameplay is good and it didn't disturb me with ads and I was very good at it and the results are good.
This is a great port of LRJS, but is it worth the price? Ehhhh... 2.99 sounds like a bit much for what was a free DeviantArt Flash game. I do understand that this has much more than beta 1, but hell LRJS was free, LRA was free and each one has more features than this. I guess if you're HUGE into Line Rider (which i was once upon a time) this is alright i guess.
Never installed, no refund. I purchased the game, it never installed, kept saying pending. Clicked on refund and tried to purchase again. Same issue, didn't install. Didn't get my first refund, and no option to get a second refund. Bought this game twice and never got the game or a refund. The developer fixed my refund. Found an issue with my Google Play. I fixed the issue and was able to download the game.
Play the most addictive and exciting sandbox game for Android devices, Line Rider. The gameplay of the game is very straightforward. You will just need to draw lines or track for the sledder to ride on.
