Yes, I'm still alive. It's been a while, so I wanted to share an update on Chapter 5. A lot has been happening.

Chapter 5 is a bit of a contradiction. On one hand, I've been trying to learn from the bloat and over-engineering of Chapter 4. On the other hand, Chapter 5 is rather grandiose by design. There are a lot of new environments, characters, and other assets designed for this chapter alone. If nothing else, your generous support is definitely being put to work!

One thing that's helped me move faster lately is getting past a lot of the heavier story scenes. The middle section of the chapter is a bit more focused on, you know, the ladies. Beth fans, in particular, should be pleased. Her final scenes clock in at over 400 renders. I wanted to give her a proper send-off. Don't worry though, all the main girls will be getting their share of attention.

It's kind of funny how massive, animation-heavy girl scenes tend to come together pretty quickly, while the story-driven ones take forever. Writing is hard. Who knew?

As for the question everyone is probably thinking - "When is Chapter 5 coming out?" It's still a little early for me to have a firm grasp on this. However, I think that a late summer release is probably realistic. The middle section is fairly well mapped out, so it mostly depends on how carried away I get with the renders. The ending is going to be a lot more complicated, but it's also the ending, so we'll cross that bridge when we get there. After that, I hope to have the Epilogue finished before the end of the year. Then this project will be done done.

Well this is rare, I'm genuinely enjoying the story, the MC seems like an actual good guy and very loving, % going to start donating to this on payday. I'm having a good time with this, Evelyn with the wine bottle made me chuckle, trying to fill the character count now.

I was struggling to decide if I want to give this a 3 or 4-star rating.In general, I really like the setting and the ideas the dev brought in his game. The models are unique and good-looking and even the MC got his own unique model for a change, technically he even got 2.The game starts rather slow, but I think it was a good pace as it was something of a corruption themed game, even though this premise seems to quickly lose its meaning, the further you play.There are two ways to play it, more mdom and more fdom focused, I only played the mdom route, so I cannot say much about the other one, apart from one scene I saw due to the mod I used. I like that there is a small choice like that, but as mentioned, I will leave that out on my review as I can not speak for the other path.The sex scenes were... okay. Nothing special with a few back and forth animations.Now to the one glaring issue I had: a sudden skip in time/plot out of seemingly nowhere. Maybe it's not the case, but it really feels like the dev suddenly decided they want to quickly finish this project, for whatever reason. We went from a slow to mid pacing to suddenly skipping months to push the plot ahead, which left me rather confused because it seemed we went from "slow build up of relationships/"semi-corruption" to suddenly being in the middle or even towards the end of the whole story.

I dont really know what to write, this game is just excellent.I haven't actually played much yet, but the world buildung that sometimes relally annoys me, is just so good, that I don't even care for the sex scenes.The fact that you actually get rewarded for reading the story and picking the right choices also enhances this. There are so many lovely little details in this game.
